I went to the program my self. The staff seemed nice at first but as I kept going, they showed their true selves by being unfair to me and my friend imparticular. They would exclude us and would put the other kids first. For example, Ms. amaris was not understanding when there was a problem and wouldn't put effort into finding out who was the problem and would just blame us if we had anything to do with the situation just because we were older. They would call us names and tease us, but when we said anything mean to them, they would get us in trouble. But you do not have to worry I guarantee you theywill not attack your dog or impulse LY snatch your child's snack. They understand and have respect for the other visitors. The Pros: Program is free.
They have activities to keep the kids busy.
Staff seem friendly. The kids are given snacks.
They close at 6pm.
*They I think still stay open till 8pm for Teenager's. The Cons: Playground bridge is damaged.
They NEVER open the facility doors on time. (Supposed to open at 10:00 am)
As a former YMCA Assistant Site Director (Back in the day) I realize it's tough for Staff at this facility to accurately watch all the Children at a public park with no fences.
Kids say the bathrooms are always dirty.
