Stopped at this spot to see if they had live sea urchin in the shell...and they did. They have a variety of fresh seafood items. They also cook your fish for you there if you'd like. Staff was friendly. Parking is a bit of hassle because it's very limited and also a tight squeeze. I would have given them 5 stars but the sea urchin was somewhat not totally fresh. They were still in a shell but in a tub of ice and not in sea water to retain its freshness. It also barely had any roe in it and looked like it had been out of the ocean for at least 3-4 days as the inside was melting already and started to smell. I'm a sea urchin fanatic so I still ate it. Always a good choice of live seafood such as Rock Crab and Dungeness Crab, the only thing is you have to know how to choose them so you don't get the skinnier ones with less meat on them since some of them have been there in the tanks with no food to eat. Cleaner than the other options I've found in the southbay however. Nice staff. Probably better to buy locally caught seafood or have Atlantic Lobsters shipped from Maine.
Too stressful for Lobsters to travel all the way here in general? Every lobster in the area is tough and stressed tasting, but these were the best available.
