I usually come here at min 3 times a week as this location is less than 5 min away from my house but normally I don’t go inside. Today I decided to go inside because I didn’t have my car. At first me and my partner were going to eat inside so we ordered to the table. After waiting for a bit we noticed we had somewhere to be so when the food came I asked for a bag. I noticed they didn’t give any ketchup so I went to the counter to make it easier so I can get the bag and the ketchup. Ok no problem. Once obtaining my items I walk back to our little table near the rest rooms and start bagging our order. Out of nowhere this short Hispanic older woman of small stature who I wished I got her name starts arguing with me saying I knocked down her roll of paper towels. I told her I don’t know what she’s talking about and I just got here. she continues to argue with me until my partner steps in and tells the lady she put the paper towels near her cady because she put it in my chair where I was sitting and why would she put it in my chair when clearly we are sitting there (my partner was still at the table) now she’s arguing with her and telling her she needs to watch her mouth. While she’s arguing with us she hits a guy in the head with her mop and she goes to apologize to him and start talking about us in Spanish thinking I don’t speak Spanish but little does she know I’m black and Dominican i understand you. I went up and told the supposed manager but she seemed highly unconcerned to the point where I’m suspecting she may not be the manager. She was a younger woman, average height, also Spanish slightly heavyset. As a restaurant manager myself customer service is ALWAYS my #1 priority and I teach my staff accordingly. I am a loyal customer but not anymore. Take it from me, it’s worth driving a couple minutes down to Monmouth road in west long branch. I won’t EVER...
Read morePretty interesting McDonalds and i’ve been to several McDonalds around Jersey first off it’s kept clean walking into the store but it takes a couple minutes to get your order taken from the front counter because the workers are mostly focused with the drive thru and any other orders coming in which is obviously not much of an issue but is at the same time since there’s hardly anyone ordering in the front anymore it’s either the drive thru or kiosk inside McDonalds. Also they have numerous amount of signs saying the limit of being inside of the store is 30 minutes!? No soda fountain either and bathrooms are locked which employees have to unlock when pressing a button to open the door. Pretty interesting but theres always reasons why stores are like that. Maybe because certain people ruined it for others maybe issues with bathrooms or soda fountains so thats why they introduced these things in the store. I ordered a Big Breakfast Platter with an extra biscuit which didn’t take long enough to get but when I opened the bag it was just double sausage and double biscuit which I didn’t order. I went to the front to let them know but apparently they informed me saying that’s how I placed it on the kiosk. I showed them the receipt and they ended up being the people in the wrong. Either way go if you want to or...
Read morehot salty crisp fries and their consistent, always good and carbonated, icy Diet Coke. Not every shop can maintain standards every-single-time like our Sparta Mickey D’s!! But they can try,,,, Morning crew ALWAYS pleasant with a greeting, afternoon teenagers get the burgers out and it’s nice to see them enjoying their afterschool jobs while working hard. I’ve heard viscous gossip from some very unreliable sources with complaints about the late drivethru. This I consider owner/mgr misteps by understaffing just because the lobby is closed. The cars don’t stop, it’s too much for a skeleton crew, people still ordering make specials. But those CEO’s need stock to gift their families! Do you know what 4 tires for a BMW costs these days? Outrageous! Golden Parachutes are expensive! Enjoy it while you can Christopher, and Joseph Just what does $19.2M translate to in the pay ratio of those teens? And a single mother feeding her kids. Sleep well under those $100 bills, the next generation may well wake up...
