AMAZING MEAT MOUNTAIN About a month ago now, just shy, I was on a road trip coming home from California. We stopped at an Arby's in god knows where USA. That's when I saw it, The Meat Mountain. "The biggest sandwich Arby’s has ever sold. Stacked ridiculously high with almost all the meats. Two chicken tenders, slices of roast turkey, pit-smoked ham, corned beef, 13-hour smoked brisket, USDA-choice Angus steak, roast beef, and pepper bacon. There’s also cheddar and Swiss cheese somewhere in there." I wanted a taste, just a smiggy, but I couldn't. I knew the concicences of eating that and being stuck in the car for the next 12 hours. Last week I started training for the big day. I told a co worker what and when we were going to make this happen. Today was the day. I called into Arby's and headed straight over. Heads up Arby's you number is wrong on Google. I ordered the Meat Mountain small meal Curlies and a Mountain Dew. I loaded up on ketchup and napkins and waited for my name to be called. Enjoy the Meat Mountain was the last thing I heard before I sat down. At first it looked small, but once I "tryed" sinking my teeth in... I knew I was in for a wild ride. I stepped back took a breathe, and started figuring out a weak point in the mountain. I started in between the tenders at the bottom. Every bite was filled with swarms of tasty meat. Instantly the peppercorn bacon hit me, followed by the pit smoked ham and the roast beef. I felt the crunch of the tenders. The Swiss and the cheddar blended well together. About half way through was when I decided that I could no longer eat 2 of them and the fantasy of finishing just one was wearing thin. At this point my gut lining was being pinched in belt and the Meat sweats were coming for me. My buddy who was eating with me started to wrap his half eaten sandwich, which started to push me past my limits. I took another bite and then another and another. I started to get sleepy but I took the final bite. It was amazing I started tearing up. I rang the bell. BEST SANDWICH...
Read moreWorst service EVER!! We were told it would be 15 minutes for roast beef sandwiches because they ran out.🤷🏻♀️ We waited in the parking lot for our order and nothing for 30 minutes. I asked a worker while she was on her smoke break if she had any updates and she said "No, I dont work in the back". Clearly it would've been too much effort to go find out. I then called to see what the hold up was and spoke with the rude, uninformed, excuse driven manager. She said the roast beef just came out of the oven.. Another 15+ minutes go by and still no order so I have to knock on the door as they locked it because they didn't want anymore customers. I speak with the manager again and she made up more excuses of why they ran out of roast beef, and the buns were still frozen and they were understaffed...... (which is strange because we saw employees leaving and 2 different ones had smoke breaks in this time). I ask her (Katy) who her manager was or who owned this location and she didn't know, said one had quit and they were trying to figure out the replacement. When I asked who "they" was she didn't know. Btw, there was no compensation for our order taking so long, our fries & cakes were cold and tasted old and the buns were hard on the edges. This was a piss poor plan of management tonight. If you are a manager you should know who your supervisors are and how to get in contact with them all while taking full responsibility for the restaurant being a complete disaster at 7pm....
Read moreYesterday, I placed a mobile order and went to this location to pick it up. Upon arrival, my order was not ready, despite the fact that I had allowed extra time for it to be prepared. I noticed that my order was not on the takeout rack, so I let others go ahead of me, thinking that my order would be ready soon. Unfortunately, it was not.
After everyone else's orders were processed, I asked the lady behind the counter about my mobile order and waited until it was finally ready. During this time, a gentleman's order came up, and when the lady handed him a bag of food, he informed her that it was for dine-in. She then grabbed a tray, dumped his sandwiches onto it, and handed it to him.
When I finally received my order, the lady showed no engagement or acknowledgment. I asked her for Arby’s sauce, and while she retrieved it and handed it to me, there was no interaction. I politely thanked her, hoping for at least some engagement in return, but received none.
Previously, I had given this location a five-star review, but unfortunately, this visit has compelled me to change my mind. I'm wondering if management has changed or the current one is not...
