Paleteria La Michoacana — Restaurant in Longmont

I am so glad our family tried Paleteria La Michoacana. It’s a unique experience in Longmont, and the staff is friendly and generous with the ice cream. My daughter and I shared a banana split, which we loved. They have a very wide variety of flavors, but we went with the traditional vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Good ice cream but a little inflated in price. But again it is a local owned business that has rent to pay. They didnt have a vety large selection of fruit....no strawberries bit will try one of their fruit and ice cream next time. $2.50 for an ice cream bar seemed kind of high but is was very good. Not sure if they make the ice cream bars. The ones you can buy from street vendors...which Longmont unfortunately is short of. Miss the ice cream and tanale vendors you can find in...

Friendly staff, fresh fruit, reasonable prices compared to other local mexican snack bars. Ice cream bars are a little bit pricey, but worth it considering they have natural fruit as you yourself can see on many of them! They also have some of the best clamtos preparados in town and fresas con crema. There cream is definitely one of a kind! lets not forget to mention they have the best corn and unique and flavorful aguas frescas, definitely...
