How corrupt can a business get? Well let me tell you a little story. Mataio Ma'ae started working for #BURGERKING January 1st 2017 as a porter (someone who cleans and does minimal matnence work)2 months later he completely skipped team member and shift lead and went straight into becoming a manager. Mataio had worked crazy hours and was doing so many great things for the guests the business and his employees. When we moved to Loveland he transferred districts and started working at the Loveland #BURGERKING where he was quick to show his skills and became an asset to the company, not soon after they made him a general manager with the promise of his very own store. When he started running the Longmont #BURGERKING things quickly changed the employees were disrespectful and Mataio thought he had his work cut way out for him, but he was persistent to change the store and the employees and change their lives for the better and has since done so in so many ways. He has proven his worth and unexpendablity to the company. And even changed the communities outlook on the store raising sales and began a flood of positive reviews. However when an employee was stealing money from his #BURGERKING in retaliation Marilu and Maru and the owner Ken made the managers give part of their checks to the company with promise of being paid back (which they never did) in his many attempts to receive help from his higher ups with no prevail until they took the money, that's when things started to really go south. Later employees began complaining about him when his bosses Marilu and Maru forced him to cut everyone's hour the retaliation began again with them. On January 30th 2018 at 11:30pm after Mataio finished his counts (he had finished them late and needed to get them turned in in fear of further retaliation) went to the bank with the nightly deposit, where he was robbed of the deposit, the police were instantly contacted reports were filed, and a investigation was opened. Co. Rev. Stature 8-4-105 sub.3 states that it is illegal for the company to withhold his earnings without any time in court, on February 5th the higher ups contacted Mataio telling him they would be withholding his check and that is not to enter the #LONGMONTBURGERKING. Mataio has since followed the proper chain of command the BBB the Bould county DA the Metro VD the Boulder County Sheriff's Department and the Colorado Department of Labor, he has even filed complaints throughout the #BURGERKING company. And still at 3:23pm 7 hours past when he was supposed to receive his paycheck has not received it but is being forced to admit guilt by Marilu and Maru (without letting their other higher ups know what is going on) and threatening to terminate his job and not give him his paycheck. Read moreThis was the worst food experience customer service overall nasty. My wife it's not there to grab dinner we ordered two Whoppers no onion and two regular Whoppers due to the fact that my wife can't stand onions. When she arrived home not only did all four Whoppers have onions on them but I found it onion rings in my fries, also one of my burgers what's still pink on the inside indicating it was undercooked yuck. I proceeded to call the restaurant spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager told them of my problem and was told I could not get a refund of my money but they were more than willing to replace the order? How dare you Burger King tell me United States citizen taxpayer customer to your establishment that's you are refusing and will not give me my money back because your staff messed up my order stop. Not only did they mess it up it was obvious it was cross-contamination and God only knows how many other violations would in that order? And then I returned to the restaurant the next day I spoke to the GM the general manager and again what's the old I could not get a refund but they would replace it just who the hell do they think they are so once you get your money you can't get it back it's going straight into the orange pocket which is a damn shame businesses like that will not get my business ever and I will make sure that I voice my experiences on every possible social...
Read moreI was really surprised at how the staff can't take an order. I ordered vary clearly in plan English, not Chinese, Russian or Spanish but in fact English a frozen coke FLOAT. I believe this should make my self quite clear I don't just a frozen coke, but I want a frozen coke with IceCream in it. witch is the whole meaning of adding the word FLOAT at the end. when I ordered the person just said" ok" like they got what I said. however, sure enough when I get my item it's just a frozen coke. I told them that I ordered a frozen coke float. they replied "we don't serve that anymore" I replied "well it's not that hard to add icecream" the manager came over and yelled " that's 50 cents more" I told here "thats fine I just want a coke float" they finally made what I was asking for but when I handed her my card to pay she screamed "DON'T YOU HAVE ANY CASH!!" I looked into my wallet witch had no cash all I had was my card. I replied "I do not have any cash just my card" she then tossed my card at me and yelled " JUST TAKE IT, NEXT TIME YOU COME HERE ORDER WRIGHT" this manager is so rude I will take my business to some other place like MCDONALDS. btw, I have ordered a frozen coke just a few weeks ago at another burgerking the same way and had no problems they understood what I wanted vary clearly.
