Well my brother and I were quite pleasantly surprised with a first encounter with this place. After growing up in the South Jersey and Philly area and both moving west to different places we have tried to find a good cheesesteak sandwich or a decent hoagie for decades. After moving to Colorado to be with my brother a few years ago I noticed 'Jersey Mike's Subs' but my brother said he never gave them a thought. Today, however we were having a problem thinking what to make for dinner and both kept talking about how perfect a Philly cheesesteak or hoagie would be. I talked him into going to Jersey Mike's. We had the best cheesesteak since leaving S Jersey, (could have been dripping some oil, though/haha) I recommend this place for having a good cheesesteak. We also each got a hoagie to put in the fridges for tomorrow...in our youth we remember that hoagies taste even better the next day. I will be back to 'Jersey Mike's', and we will recommend anyone...
Read moreTried going in here at 8:54pm on Friday night. Open sign was on and I was turned away. Normally I wouldn’t even complain about this due to being so close to closing time, but the employees were making food for themselves on the grilled, which takes a good minute and the slicer hadn’t even been cleaned yet. All I wanted was a quick cold roast beef. When I suggested that the young man working should turn the sign off and lock the door if they were no longer taking more customers, he caught an attitude and still didn’t turn off the sign for more than ten minutes as I could see while I waited in the Raising Cane’s drive thru. If you’re in customer service, help your customers! I’ve worked at many a sandwich shop in my 20’s and I would have been fired for closing before the posted time. Lil man...
Read moreJust went their last night with my nephew, wanted to try them out for the first time. The staff was cool and the taste was good but it was A total waste of money, at least for me it was. Ended up spending almost $30.00 for 2 regular subs, 2 sodas and 2 cookies. Now the part that shocked me was when the dude brought out the subs and how small they were, they definitely would not fill 2 grown men and for A 30 dollar price tag I would expect A bigger more stacked sandwich kind of like how butcher frank makes their subs but not A chance, jersey mikes charges a lot for kid sandwiches. I told my nephew, well at least we tried them but I definitely will not be going back.To get more for your money I recommend subway or...
