I’m honestly surprised by the number of 5-star reviews for this place. We’ve visited twice, and both times they closed early due to “low foot traffic.” As new residents of the neighborhood and wine enthusiasts, we were hoping to make this our go-to spot. Unfortunately, after two visits, we still haven’t had the chance to try their food because of early closures, among other issues.
Both visits were on Sundays, and during our most recent visit, the patio (the portion that was open) was full, yet they still closed early citing low foot traffic. We had planned on ordering a charcuterie board, but the kitchen was closed again, so we were left with the dry biscuit that accompanies the wine flights.
We also heard about a Sunday deal they offer, but only because we overheard the waiter mention it to another table. Despite visiting twice on Sundays, we were never told about their $5 Sunday deal, which could have easily made us regulars if we’d known.
Additionally, I ordered the same flight as during our last visit because I enjoyed it (a sparkling flight with one white wine). However, this time, the wine was incredibly flat—the flattest I’ve ever had. It really felt like they didn’t care whether we were there or not. I was incredibly disappointed with the entire sparkling flight.
Finally, it seems like the focus here is more on private events than on regular customers. It’s disappointing because we were really looking forward to making this our regular spot, but it feels like they prioritize event bookings over the satisfaction of...

But if you want a very nice place where you can sit with friends, drink excellent wines that you have probably not seen before, and maybe nosh on some fine snacks (no pub grub) this may be the place for you. Good food, great drinks in a comfortable, welcoming surrounding. Don't know wines? Just ask. The staff does.
They know their stuff on wines. I've never had anything that I would rate less than 8.9 on a Wine Spectator scale. They know small bite food as well. Try the parmesan crackers. They should sell these.
It is packed full prime time on Thurs, Fri, Sat. But they take reservations. There are always a couple tables held open for walk-ins but those tend to go pretty fast. I suspect this will continue even when it gets warmer and the patio is more accessible.
A great place to spend some time or for a date that you...
Read moreThis is just what longmont needs! A place where you can hang out for a few hours. Taste some wines from different regions, countries all over, not just Colorado wines and enjoy the company of friends. The wait staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. The pricing of wine was fair and you felt like you got a great experience tasting from different regions. I purchased a wine that is out of Italy for $35. I really liked it and I think that it was a great value.
If you are coming with a large group, I would suggest to order more than just one appetizer or charcuterie board. The Bavarian pretzel is probably the best value as far as the amount of food you will get. It's definitely not a restaurant and more of a bar, so make sure that you don't expect to eat dinner. With that said, everything tasted great that we ordered from top to bottom. I will...
