We recently had an experience with Longmont Dairy that left a sour taste in my mouth. They accused me of not putting out the milk cooler and their delivery driver having to leave one (essentially stealing their cooler). This was absolutely false. I replied that we only had 1 cooler and to please double-check with the delivery driver on the address, thinking it was a simple mistake, and they needed to find the correct address to get all of their coolers back.
They replied that they would update my account to reflect that I only had 1 cooler, but they took no responsibility for the mistaken accusation whatsoever. I then replied that I even put all of the glass containers inside like they asked, and I hoped they received them all. No response.
We do NOT have 2 coolers in our home! To accuse me of essentially stealing, or at the least, being irresponsible, when, in fact it is inaccurate, is not OK. They should have found out the true address and issued an apology for the mistake. It just made me feel really crappy, like even if I do everything right, they're going to make up some lies and charge me for an extra cooler. I now take pictures of my cooler every Monday evening so this cannot be done again, but I shouldn't have to not be able to trust the milk delivery team, especially when they promote family values and community.
The person who sold us the subscription was SO kind and personable, so I think whoever is emailing me just didnt have very good email etiquette. I think its a one-off (but I still take pictures, just in case, which makes me feel like a little kid swearing to their mom they didnt take the family car out when in fact they didnt!)
The milk is excellent. some of the flavored milks and juices are good, some are not so good (watered down or off putting smell). I wish we could leave simple reviews in the app so in case a lot of people have the same experience they can consider updating recipes or remove certain items. We do love the limited edition food items, but they're very pricey for the quantity you get.
We will keep our subscription, as it's healthier and easier with me having 3 kids under 5, but I just didnt appreciate being falsely accused of something and then them not taking ownership of...
Read moreGuy for the company was driving through my neighborhood and asked me if I wanted free samples. I said of course I can’t turn down free samples. He explained to me that I need to sign up for an account to get the samples and that if I decide to order their products, they deliver them to my door. I asked him why he needed my credit card number and he said it was just for the account to be registered and if I decide to order a delivery, my card will be charged. I asked him at least three times to make sure there would be no fees unless if I order a delivery. He said again there aren’t any fees unless if I manually put in an order for delivery. I got an email from the company the next day regarding my account. I emailed and asked them to make sure I wouldn’t be charged a fee if I didn’t put in an order. They said I won’t be charged unless if I put in an order. Sure enough, a cooler with milk showed up on my doorstep. I emailed them and said how I had gotten a delivery and I never ordered anything and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be charged. They emailed me back saying unfortunately you will be charged for this order. I called the office and said what had happened and threatened that if they charge me, I’ll dispute the charge on my credit card and they supposedly canceled the charge. The sales person for the company basically asked me what kind of milk I drink and put in a delivery without telling me probably to get a sale or commission. Extremely...
Read moreI think this is a great service, so I signed up for a free sample (mainly for my husband) after receiving an offer in the mail. I signed up online and the instructions clearly stated that I'd be contact to schedule a time to deliver/receive the sample. Unfortunately, someone visited my home on three separate occasions without speaking to me / coordinating with me in advance. Today was the 3rd time, which was luckily fine, since I had the day off. However, the first two times, were during my work hours. I work for a remote tech company and I'm on Zoom calls with customers literally all day long. It's extremely disruptive to receive a loud knock on the door followed by the door being rang on multiple occasions without any warning. I can't just leave a live Zoom meeting with a customer in front of me and go downstairs to talk with a complete stranger, especially while my husband isn't home. It's worth noting that I was contacted via text, but it was only after the first visit, and it was in the middle of my workday so I inevitably forgot to respond. I won't name the gentleman who stopped by today (and likely the other two times) but I would just like this company to take into consideration that many people still work from home, and not all of us can just up and answer the door when someone is aggressively knocking/ringing the doorbell without having scheduled a time with the customer...
