Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this location. I'm currently 9 months pregnant and I had my 38 week checkup near this location, with a 2 hour gap between appointments. I ordered decaf coffee and a few other items (just before 12pm). When the cashier repeated my order, he mentioned a decaf americano. I politely informed him that I asked for a decaf brewed coffee (the espresso currently upsets my stomach at this stage of pregnancy) and a female employee near him jumped in to the conversation and said "Sorry, we don't brew decaf coffee here." This comes as a bit of a shock since I too have worked at a corporate Starbucks, Peets Coffee, and Nordstrom eBar and have never heard a large chain decline brewing decaf coffee at their location. I do know that after a certain time of the day, they can elect to not brew it since it's not as popular and can be wasteful, BUT it's always available upon request. As are pour overs, french press coffee, etc.
I was not offered any other alternative, given consideration for my clearly visible condition (I mean, I'm 9 months pregnant...pretty hard to hide at that point lol), so I asked them to delete that order and charge me for the rest of my items. I also asked where the next nearest Starbucks was and she was fine with sending me on my way. I called the other location ahead of time and asked if they had brewed decaf and the barista was happy to say that she would brew a pot for me! I made sure to give a great tip for their service and a massive thank you for doing me the kindness. She even told me that they even offer pour overs as an alternative and comped out my order as an apology for this locations negative service. I know how impactful a review can be on google these days. This is my very first negative review and I sure hope I dont have to repeat this...
Read moreOrdered 1 venti iced drink and 2 trenta iced drinks. Homeboy at the window put all 3 drinks in a SINGLE drink carrier. Handed it to the driver and spilled it all over him. Instead of offering to remake the drinks, he asked “do you guys want to skip the drink carrier? Would you like stoppers on top?” Then proceeded to hand us the same drinks that had just been spilled. This has happened at multiple locations. PUT THE BIG DRINKS INTO 2 STACKED DRINK CARRIERS. OR HAND THE DRINK CARRIER OUT FIRST, then the drinks with stoppers. At a coffee shop I used to work at, we used to do that and never spilled drinks on customers. Or if it ever did spill on a customer, we apologized profusely, REFUNDED the order, and remade the drinks. My drivers clothes are ruined with stains and our car seats are soaked and sticky. How about instead of forcing your baristas to write irrelevant shit on the cups, yall implement a SOP that teaches them how to hand out multiple large drinks without spilling on the customer? Or maybe an SOP for how to make things right for a customer you just screwed over??? Homie shouldn’t get in trouble for this, but corporate should be held accountable. Took my Venti peppermint mocha that I ordered at 8:32am in this morning at 10:35 and told them that i ordered a half sweet one and this one was to sweet for me, i couldnt come right back through because there were 10 cars behind me and I had to drop my other child off and get ready for the work day. Now that I am on my way to work I would like the right coffee for $7. The lady at the cashier in front said I NEED TO PAY for another one since this one is half full and almost gone, excuse me... ITS A FRAPPUCCINO IT MELTED! I asked for the manager and she throws a fit that this happened 2 hours ago and I am just coming in, she rolls her eyes and throws more mamble mamble, so I said fine I just wont have another one from here. I come here at least once a week and have never been treated horribly.... I left then went back in for a refund and they were behind the counter talking badly about myself.
