Went in for a late dinner with husband and daughter. We were playing around and singing with the music.. My hubby set his vape on the table to pack up our leftovers and without thinking I picked it up and took a puff from it. Instantly, before I exhaled a worker out of uniform yells from behind the counter “do not vape in here!” I didn’t even realize that I had done it but of course I apologized and put my vape away. We cleaned our area up and got up to leave. I had some stuff stuck in my teeth so I went to bathroom to use sink and mirror. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. Same person out of uniform. “This bathroom is out of order!” I replied, “ I don’t realize! I was just using the sink..” I walked out and she asked “do you know what this is?” She held and burned piece of aluminum foil in my face… “nooo!” I said confused. She said it was in the other bathroom. “You used it before!” I said “So?? It’s not mine!?” To which she replied “yeah, you can’t do this kind of stuff here!” “It’s not mine” I said. Then she says “well you hit your vape…!” I was dumbfounded!! Big difference I said as I walked out! And I could see her go to the kitchen area and all of the workers looked out the window at us !! Absolutely weird !! Rude! Inappropriate! Just seriously!? What a stupid assumption to make.. even dumber connection between drug paraphernalia in a bathroom and a vape I had in the restaurant.. I honestly was stunned. Won’t be going back to say the least. Thank god my daughter was already...
Read moreFood is standard chipotle, always good, same as every other location. But this was the grimiest chipotle I’ve ever eaten at. Possibly of any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. It was dirty. And not like “we just came after dinner shift”, dirty. It was like crumbs and grease caked in the corners. The bathroom was like a gas station stop. The food line was really sloppy. Trash cans were overflowing. Various surfaces with splatters and grease/dust build up. When I sat down to eat, I thought for a second “am I going to get food poisoning tonight?” And the obvious shift lead was trying her to motivate the team and keep some folks Focused, but everyone else was really apathetic. The young man that made our food reminded me of my moody 16 year old son on a bad day, he was really unpleasant. It’s fine if folks don’t want to be all smiles and chipper, but when someone asks for an ingredient off your line and you’re answer is simply “nope”, you need some coaching on professionalism. The vibe felt very much like all the kids just got lectured by a grumpy dad. Understaffed is understandable, but adjusting opening hours for deep cleaning are necessary. Service date...
Read moreI am writing this review with the intent to help Chipotle Longview and not to harm it.
I placed an order online and was given a pickup time of 11:30am. I rolled up at the pickup window a full ten minutes early figuring on a probable few minutes wait.
To my surprise, my order was ready. I will repeat that I was ten minutes early and at first thought, "cool". I was home in fifteen minutes.
Expectation is that the food comes through the window hot and is on the hot side of warm when you start eating it.
The food was refrigerator cool when I started eating it and the chips were stale with no dipping salsa.
I suspect that the order was put together immediately after I placed it and sat on the pickup shelf by the pickup window for 15 minutes or so with no warming devise.
10 to 15 minutes in transit makes a good eating temperature if the food comes through the window hot. 15 or so minutes on the shelf and 15 minutes in transit makes for a cold lunch.
My wife and I are huge fans of Chipotle. We have been for years. This is our first disappointment. We are excited to have one this close again. We are hopeful that these issues...
