(Some previous reviews on here are for the previous Chinese restaurant that occupied this building for nearly 40 years. This location is now a new Korean restaurant, which opened April 2018. It is no longer a Chinese buffet)

Excellent! The food was so good, and the service was very friendly. I can't wait to go back! When you walk in, they will ask if you want dine in or to go. They have a steam table set up for you to select what you want for to go orders and they fill your order there. If you dine in, you order from the menu (including the back, it isn't just a lunch menu) and they bring everything to you fresh from the kitchen. We ordered the Bibimbab in the hot stone bowl, which costs $1 more than a regular bowl. They come to the table steamy and sizzling! (You can break the yolk while the stone is nice and hot and it cooks the egg). So happy that they opened...

No one told me that 할머니 (grandma) was back there! Y’all in Longview got blessed with a legit Korean restaurant. This reminds me of Song’s kitchen ins Elizabethtown, Kentucky. No one would have expected it but were pleasantly surprised Abuela is back there making it happen!

I ordered the Bulgogi and the Gimbap (to go). The beef was perfect. Well marinated and a great portion to share (for two). The banchan (side dishes) were on point and I even got some Ssam (lettuce) and Ssam Jang (the traditionally accompanying soybean paste for the lettuce wrap).

Needless to say, this is my go to spot in Longview. Disclaimer: Service isn’t the best, but most mom and pop Asian Shops are like that but service is above average (weighted score). The food is...

Not sure where the low star reviewers are eating but from my experience it isn't this place. Comparing it to other "Chinese" buffets and restaurants is ridiculous. It isn't Chinese. And what I had wasn't "fast" food as Chinese restaurants are. I understand most reviewers on here do not understand good "flavor" when it comes to food being used to over salted eats and equat salt etc with "flavor" lol.

This was close to authentic from my view. Good tastes, good textures, hot fresh etc. Americans do tend to complain about "not enough MEAT". As noted by remarks here. Get out and get some REAL culture and stop being typical Americans with no idea. Great food recommended by "me". Ill be back...

Panda Korea is an authentic Korean restaurant in Longview. The owners are a Korean couple who are more comfortable speaking in Korean than English. The food is excellent with great portion sizes. You can seat yourself and on check out just walk to the front (you can ask for a to go box there). This is the go to place for authentic Korean food in a 100 mile radius. I stop by whenever I get the chance. Their lunch specials are a great money saver as well. The sides that come with your main meal are great. Depending on the dish you will get cucumber, kimchi, potatoes, chili sauce, or fruit. I highly recommend trying out Panda Korea if you are interested in or like Korean food.
