Before lockdown, I would come to this location and do a lot of my studying. Staff and other regulars and I interacted somewhat regularly. Since then, there have been staff changes but I still do come into the dining room fairly often to grab something on my lunch hour, so I still get to interact with the staff.
Today was the first time I came in to study since the dining room came open again and my experience was great, as always. While I was working, I was randomly approached by another customer. He showed me many things on his phone and we talked for about 15 minutes. The staff noticed that this could have possibly been an uncomfortable situation for me and they routinely checked in with me with eye contact and asking if I would like to have my drink topped up, etc.
After the other customer left, I let them know I was familiar with him and everything was Ok. I am leaving this review because WHAT IF the situation was threatening? I don't know if Starbucks trains its employees to recognize and react to situations like that, but they all seemed very alert and were very actively watching. I feel like they would do this for anyone at all.
Thanks for having my back,...
Read moreSo much not ok here. The manager is joking about being petty and pouring drinks out in front of customers as a way to get back at the customer for returning drinks made wrong. The joking and passive aggressive comments could be heard in lobby while I was waiting for my food. My food came back poor quality, stale and tasteless. The lobby was dirty. Every table had food and slime on it. The manager appears to not care and not only encouraged catty behaviors (by role modeling it) but also was witnessing staff say inappropriate things and giggled about it. This is a sketchy run store, with terrible customer service and a nasty lobby. I'm curious how this branch is staying open? I Do they have a District manager? How often does that District manager visit or stay here? Just feels very rouge and redneck. Do...
Read moreI'm not really much of a fan of big chain stores. But I'm not anti social either so when I go, it's usually with others. I received a Starbucks card as an early Christmas gift and it's been tucked away in the dark recesses of my wallet since then. I was going to pick up some drinks for someone else and I asked them to add my coffee to their order via the Starbucks app. It wasn't complicated to add my gift card and pay for my drink. We were pulling into the parking lot as the order was submitted. There was about 4 cars in front of us as I told them "I'm picking up my order." Much to my surprise the line moved quickly, our order was ready within seconds of reaching the window. And everything was right. It probably won't change my purchasing habits, but if you patronize Starbucks, this location has...
