Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Lorain

1st time at this “new” location. Great experiences at other locations. From ordering to complete walking out the door 40 minutes. Only three sandwiches and three orders of fries. Had to remake sandwiches two times. 1st time around one sandwich wrong. While waiting for them to remake the one they ended up giving my other two to the wrong guest. Now remaking all three sandwiches. Eventually remade while my fries got cold. They agreed to give me all three fries again. When I got home the fries were “terrible”. Over cooked and made with old oil that made them rubbery and inedible. Threw out all three orders. Sandwiches were OK but all this ruined my appetite. If you elect to try this place “Good Luck”! We normally drive to Avon Penn Station but tried the Lorain location today. Bread looked white and was hard as a rock. I have never seen they're bread look like this. They also gave me the wrong sandwich... I specifically said NO MAYONNAISE and it was smothered in mayo, no black olives in store and I love Penn Station fries....until today. They weren't made fresh like most locations do. I found out when I got home they gave me the wrong sandwich and I was not going to drive back and chance it. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. This is one of my favorites. Hurray! There has been a change in management! The food is STILL the best! The big change is the atmosphere and especially the staff. Jose is the new manager and his whole staff is new. They have brought this location up to Penn Station standards (AWESOME). They care about the product they serve AND they care about their customers.
