Nick’s breakfast burrito still reigns supreme. 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd UNIT 109, Los Alamitos, CA 90720 I’ve tried 19 breakfast burritos so far, and I was thinking…what if my rankings are off because of recency bias? So I wanted to try Nick’s again, which has been at the top of my list since back last year. Well, my friends…I still think it’s the best after trying again!! It’s $8.95, just the right substantial size, the flavor of the chorizo and eggs and potatoes and bacon and cheese is all blended perfectly, there’s great salsa…it’s just my favorite. Do you agree? Here’s the list of rankings: Nick’s in Seal Beach - 9.75 LJ’s Cafe in Cypress - 9.5 That Epic Burrito Shack in Huntington Beach - 8.6 Pepe’s in Fullerton - 8.3 Troy’s in Orange - 8.2 Nate’s Korner in Santa Ana - 8.1 Ham ‘N Scram in Westminster - 8.0 The Trough in Irvine, Anaheim, and RSM - 7.8 George’s in Fullerton - 7.8 Palm Market Deli in Orange - 7.5 Rose Cafe in Lake Forest - 7.5 Lupes - Dana Point/Aliso Viejo/HB - 7.4 Surfin Donuts in Mission Viejo - 7.3 Paul’s Place in Orange - 7 Teddy’s Deli - 6.8 Cali Tacos in Orange - 6.8 Hola Adios in Costa Mesa - 6.5 Athenian #3 in Buena Park - 6 John’s Place in Orange - 5.3 . . . #breakfast #breakfastburrito #cheers #wheretoeat #mmm #feedfeed #sealbeach #losalamitos #orangecounty

What do you call a baby donkey? A burrito. Alright, @nicks_deli2 Nick’s in Seal Beach has been suggested so many times and…this is my favorite one so far by FAR. Everything is distributed so perfectly, the consistency is on point, and flavor is superior. I give this one a 9.5, because who knows if we’ll ever find the perfectone, but it does come close. @nicksdelisealbeach and Nick’s in Los Alamitos is the best breakfast burrito I’ve had so far. I went to the Los Alamitos location, and I’m pretty sure these burritos get people coming back, because it seemed like everyone who walked in was a regular. The staff was crazy friendly and seemed like the loved their jobs. And then, the burrito. Like I said, I give it a 9.5, because who knows if I’ll ever find that 10/10 and have to backtrack, but it is my favorite that I’ve had. This burrito isn’t SUPER huge, which is actually sort of nice depending on what you’re looking for. Didn’t feel overwhelmed, and didn’t feel bad for wanting to eat the whole thing. I got the classic breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo, bacon, potatoes, and cheese, and it ran me about $10. The red salsa was the perfect topper - I ended up drinking it like a shot after I took bites of the burrito. I think the key here it ratios - and everything is spread out so each bite is a flavorful, well seasoned one. It’s also the opposite of dry. All around, just really, good, solid food. 223 Main Street, Seal Beach, CA 90740 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd. Los Alamitos, CA 90720 What’s your favorite one? Do you agree with this? Looking to hit up Pepe’s and Cali Tacos next. . . #foodreel #breakfastburrito #breakfast #feedfeed #eater #losalamitos #sealbeach #thebest #orangecounty #foodie #explore #wheretoeat

I was looking for a good breakfast burrito and saw lots of good reviews for Nick's II. The pictures also factored into my decision to give them a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted. Since this was my first time, a nice gentleman gave me a couple of suggestions. I went with the classic breakfast burrito. I couldn't wait to try it. The burrito was nicely filled with a good mix of chorizo, bacon, eggs, potato & cheese. I experienced all the flavors in each bite and it was really good. The size wasn't massive but definitely big enough to take care of your hunger. It also came with a nice side of salsa (more than just a sample size) and also a spoon which came in handy to get salsa in all the right places! They also have other items from breakfast & lunch on the menu as well as a great selection of chips, fountain drinks & coffee, and a variety of bottled drinks. I would highly recommend Nick's II for breakfast burritos. I also plan to return to try other breakfast burritos and other things on the menu.

My first time here. Went with a buddy for lunch on a Saturday. It was crowded, which I took as a good sign. Bad restaurants are never crowded. We were greeted at the door by a man with an order pad, who took our order, told us to have a seat and our order would be brought to us and we could pay after we ate.. The restaurant has lots of indoor seating and some outside seating, which is where we sat. We served ourselves at the soda fountain, where water is also available. It only took a few minutes to get our orders. We each has a pastrami sandwich and an order of fries. The pastrami was just about the best I've ever had in SoCal. Very lean. Cooked properly. Seasoned correctly and served while still warm off the grill. The fries were also awesome. They were seasoned and quite tasty. All in all, this is a great place to eat. I liked the New York deli 'feel' and atmosphere, loved the food, and would not hesitate to dine here again.

The burritos here are a force to be reckoned with and here's a little insider tip: if you're a regular like me, you'll probably run into someone you know most of the time. It's like a social gathering disguised as a deli! We call in our order for the Americano almost every weekend, and let me tell you, they recognize my name now. That's some next-level customer service right there. It's like having your own personal deli buddies. Get the Breakfast Burritos. Not just for breakfast. Also, you'll probably run into someone you know most of the time. It's definitely better than McDonald's, Just make sure to bring your appetite great breakfast burritos.
