So, my family and I just moved to this area a little over a year ago and quickly found 'Volcano Burgers'.

As stated above, for an old-fashion burger joint, food is awesome. It's family-owned (or it appears that way at least) and they do seem to take great care in making sure your order is perfect.

My issue is with the actual financial transaction. There is a review from 2 years ago on here for '1 Star' from a user who had a similar issue as I have.

For some time now, I never liked how when you ordered your food, depending on the total amount, they would round up to the nearest $20, either $20 if it's less than $20, or $40 if it's less than $40. They would charge your Debit Card accordingly and give you back the difference.

They have never explained why they do this, but I have a good guess. For certain Merchant transactions that are done by 'Debit' as opposed to 'Credit', they seem to be subject to more fees than the regular 'Credit' option or 'Signature Debit' as it's called by some.

So, I've tried to ignore it and just accept it as 'just the way it is' for a good ol' fashion burger joint.

The problem however is that it just got worse. We went there a few days ago, same thing happened with our order, except we were charged 99 cents on top of our order.

Then in addition, I see that I was also charged a $2 Fee to my card on top of the food order.

This is now $3 that I'm paying in just fees, on top of the dollar amount for food.

The issue is that within 1-3 miles, you have SEVERAL burger joints that compete with Volcano, all with great food. In addition, you have the 'Albertos Mexican Food' joints as well, all within 1-3 miles.

No one else does this except Volcano Burgers.

It just seems to me, that what started out as a way to save money for them has now gotten out of control.

It really is time to invest in to a decent...

I highly recommend Volcano Burger! This is a small, busy, family style establishment that has been around for a long time. They have a wide variety of items on the menu, such as fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, chili cheese fries, gyros, and so on. It's a big menu! Moreover, their portions are generous, so an order of chili cheese fries, for example, can easily be shared by two persons.

I especially enjoy their burgers and fries, which are delicious and unique from other places. Also, if you have an issue, they are very quick to respond, which is always a good sign of a business that cares about their customers' experience.

For example, I once ordered a bacon cheeseburger with an egg on top, sunny side up (I recommend it!), but the egg was cooked hard.

When I brought it to their attention, they immediately fixed it, no questions asked, and even apologized for the mistake. I appreciated the way they handled it and it's just one example of why I enjoy supporting this family owned business.

Be forewarned though, they are always busy precisely because they are so popular in the local community, so be prepared to wait a little bit, especially using the drive through.

However, their food really is worth the wait. If you choose to walk up, there are plenty of spots on the patio where you can sit down and enjoy your meal.

These are just some of the reasons why I am comfortable recommending Volcano Burger, especially if you've been looking for a new "spot." Volcano Burger definitely provides their customers with a good...

AMAZEBALLZ!! I've ALWAYS gone here from when i was younger even, because my grandparents would go there all the time. Amazing food! They dont give total amount over intercom so dont be alarmed when the talking just STOPS✋ haha They're ALWAYS busy, which attests to their quality. Its like having homemade food & fast food made from home. Son gets Fish and Chips, Bacon;or Avacado Chz Burger,Chili Cheese Dog/Corn dogs ( both hot dog & corn dog are thick yummy😋 hot dogs, & AMAZING Zuccini 🍟!! Served with the GOOD BOMB Ranch dressing, not the sweet nasty tangy kind. They have a ton to choose,from also! Breakfast, food from Quesadillas to Carna Asada tacos, to club sandwich, fried burritos, ALMOST ANYTHING you could think of and theyre LARGE portions. They dont habe combos though, so its everythong somd seperately and they ARENT STINGY eith condaments, or things like lettuce, sauce, tomato, pickles etc... CANT RAGE about this place enough!! And in top of that the owners work there, very tight surroundings like in n out. The,owner or manager os super nice amd very religious, and it shows with all of his staff. Theres an outside eating area which is very popular for the kids after,school. TRY IT OUT, ITS AMAZING!! Easy to miss but across from a school, Look for the big White wtih Red,letter VOLCANO Sign!!!
