When you walk-in the the location was clean. Imelda and Corey was the only ones to greet me. Prefect I was a new customer and was nervous about ordering at new location this make this easier. Upon look at the menu I had already know what I wanted before coming, I notice you can build your own bowl so I waited for a team member to call me next. The next team member name Z didn’t agree me with very much welcome he just stared at me. I sad hi no reply back so I moved on. I asks if I can get a bowl he made and confuse face which made me very nervous I felt as if I was really messing up and the menu felt very intimidating. She then proceeded to say huh and I repeat it again with a smile. Can I please order the bowl. I was still met with a confused look on his face so then I asked him I’m sorry I’m new can you teach me about the menu or show me how to order properly. Z then proceeded to give me a menu which I’ve already looked over. He did not take the time to explain how I ordered the ball or what steps I need to take. For a person like me who suffers from anxiety 😥 this wasn’t my day. I haven’t took the menu procrastinating if I should just leave the restaurant. So I asked again can you please explain how I can order an bowl. He then repeated what I asked is that OK you wanna bowl with a rude attitude I reply back yes please not knowing that he wasn’t the person to make my bowl. I start telling him what I wanted. He cuts me off. Tells me that another person will be making it. This would have been helpful at the beginning when I asked him, so how do I order? He lacked peopleskills and customer service. I understand it’s a new location and I understand that sometimes a team and takes time for them to get to know each other in Arthur workflows. It did take them two times to get my order right but I was very patient because I was really dying to try this new location for a while while waiting. The manager Imelda was very nice on explaining the menu and how to order. Corey was very nice on explain the delay very professional. And even getting my food out to me quick. Because of these 2 I will be come back they turned my experience around thank you 😊 The Mac bites 7/10 The custom bowl with...
Read moreDON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. This place ought to be ashamed of themselves. I don’t even know how they’re in business, and I’m not joking nor am I aiming to be mean — I am so serious. The food here is disgusting. The Mac & Cheese tastes like it came from the frozen food aisle. I got the build your own Macaroni & Cheese with broccoli and chicken… literally three pieces of broccoli and virtually no chicken. The chicken I did find SWIMMING in water cheese SOUP was extremely thinly sliced. No way they grill the chicken in house. Then I got tater tots, which feels like a random side to have on the menu, and not only did they taste freezer burnt and like they were cooked in a microwave, there was zero salt or seasoning added. The concept of this place is great, but that’s all it’s good for — dreams and imagination. Box mac & cheese would be better than whatever they call this atrocity. They need to hire some real staff and chefs to help them figure out the recipe situation. I’d almost volunteer as tribute for free. You know what would really elevate the food? Not just a whole new recipe, because that goes without saying, but if they put the pasta in an aluminum container, got a small oven of some sort, layered cheese in the middle and a generous amount on the top, then put it in the oven for a few minutes. That would give an actual macaroni & cheese experience. As a matter of fact, Dear Owners of this establishment, please take a trip to Noodles & Company to see and TASTE how it’s done. Take notes and hit the drawing board if you want any chance of staying in business. Until then? Not another plate/bowl needs to be served...
Read moreMy son wanted to have his birthday lunch at I Heart Mac & Cheese. It was our first time. This is a franchise location and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
My husband ordered the short rib Philly mac & cheese with classic mac & cheese bacon jalapeño bites.
The birthday boy had a build your own grilled cheese on Sourdough with white cheddar, yellow cheddar, mozzarella, muenster, and pepperoni, with classic mac& cheese bites, and tater tots.
My younger son had build your own mac with pasta, cheese sauce, mojo pulled pork, white cheddar, Muenster, and bread crumbs.
I had the classic mac and cheesy broccoli.
The food was delicious. We were all happy. And, they serve Coke products. There are fountain and bottled options. Plus some kind of coffee machine.
Parking in the structure behind the building was easy and free.
Bonus, we happened to come in during happy hour (M-F 3-5), which my husband greatly appreciated and sealed the deal that we will be coming back.
We saw that there were gluten-free and vegan options. Even options for making more of a protein bowl.
I highly recommend you check this place out.
Pictures show short rib Philly with bacon jalapeño bites (minus some that he gave to share), and the classic mac with cheesy broccoli. Sorry, I didn't get good pics...
