Afters Ice Cream — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Oh. My. Goodness!!! I just tried the Cookie Butter ice cream flavor and it was so good!! The texture was very nice too :] I am positive the “cookie” flavor is Biscoff cookie. It might be because I like Biscoff but the flavor was just amazing. The cookie flavor is very noticeable and not overpowering! And what makes me happier is that the ice cream overall is not too sweet! (I am not much of a sweet tooth person so I do not like my ice cream too sweet). I feel like the cookie bits complement the ice cream itself ╰(´︶`)╯♡ I have not tried the other flavors but I think they might be great too!! They have such unique flavors :0 Also the workers were all polite and even said that if we had any questions, we could ask. The vibe in this place is nice ^^ It may not be “aesthetic” as some would like it but I really do not care too much for those things. I will say that it may be pricy for some people since you pay over $5 for just one scoop. Afters Ice Cream is just the best. They have several locations and all the ones we have been to our wonderful.

The service at this Afters is fantastic. They go out of their way to explain what they have and you can have a taste. Some are different colors and unless an employee tells you what it is, beyond the short description, you won't know if you will love it. There are a few that are too sweet for me, that my grandson just loves. To each his own.

They have a lot of flavors and they do change. I love any of their chocolate offerings. My grandson wants the sweetest thing he can find and then tops it with so many toppings they need a bigger cup.

They also have a bun, much like a donut, that is warm and they will stuff any ice cream you want into it. I loved it, but could not finish it. It is just a lot for me. My grandson on the other hand loves them and eats it all. They are great.

I love trying new flavors especially when they don't charge for sampling the ice cream. And the manager of the night was really awesome letting us try all the flavors. I'm lactose intolerant and I know my limit. He suggested mango sherbet, acai blueberry and choco co for non dairy. The less sweet flavor was the Jasmine milk tea...it tasted pretty and you can feel the Jasmine blooming in your mouth. The French toast taste extremely like the cereal. The almond butter ice cream taste like almond milk. The peanut butter taste awesome but had too many things it. I really do love them but since I know I can handle for my dairy intake I opted for the Thai tea. So yummy and you can really taste the tea. Also, it wasn't so sweet it had a perfect balance between settle and sweet. I also got the waffle cone. The prices are affordable. Definitely a must...
