The stuff of preparing the drinks was not about looking at the customer and being aware when the finished my drink to find it reasonable to bring it to me so I tried to ask the girl who was taking the trash with polite excuse me at first, hello, excuse me, hello, then I had to raise my voice since it seems like she was inside her head as well so that she hears me and I politely said can you please hand me that white drink over there (vanilla bean which I ordered) since I am in a hurry and the woman who prepared it left to go to the back. She did it, but then as I was leaving, the reason I am leaving this bad review, she started arguing to my back next time dont yell, you shouldn't raise your voice and she argued with an attitude, but I was in a rush and just added so that you cant hear me? .... That is unheard of and really not necessary Just wanted to stress out that it was not busy, 2 customers...
Read moreI live in the neighborhood and visit this Starbucks 4–5 times a week, usually for a venti drip with hazelnut ($4.55 for the past 6 months). On Thursdays, because of cleaning, since i need to move my truck, I go there and I grab my coffee around 8am and walk over to sit outside Gelson’s.
Most of the staff knows me, though not all. Today, I asked for the restroom code and was met by an employee I hadn’t seen before. She asked if I had made a purchase—fair question, but her tone felt rude. I explained I come here regularly, but she insisted I buy something first. Meanwhile, other employees who clearly recognized me said nothing.
I get that there’s a new policy for safety, but where was that energy when there were 4–5 homeless people sitting at the tables earlier? I ended up using the restroom at Gelson’s—staff there were polite...
Read moreRecently this Starbucks instituted a customer only wi-fi, and seating policy meaning you have to purchase something in order to use their amenities including the bathroom. The worker there was very rude in the way she asked me and she said if you don't get anything you have to leave. Their instructions on what I could purchase like a cup of water was very incoherent. Also her demeanor an attitude could have been a little bit better. I understand maybe there are homeless people and that's why they instituted that policy but it's still a very thin line between safety and customer service and I think she could have asked in a much more friendly way. I recommend you go to the health nut restaurant on the corner they do not have that policy and they're very friendly and provided me free Wi-Fi with or without...
