7 Of LA’s Best Restaurants To Order Your Fourth Of July BBQ And Burger Spread From On Postmates

Baby blues BBQ is a fantastic restaurant. I was incredibly impressed with both the service and the food. I went with the Texas style beef rib, with macaroni and cheese and pork and beans, then also ordered some of their sliced brisket all the cart. I finished up my meal with a order of their banana pudding. When we got there at only took us about 20 minutes to get seeded, considering it's a first-come-first-serve basis that wasn't too bad. I will say that the chairs weren't very comfortable, but that was literally the worst part of the experience. The servers were quick to get our drinks as well as our orders, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The brisket tasted amazing, though it was a little bit dry for my taste. Still happy that I ate a pound of it though haha. The Texas style beef rib, my goodness it was fantastic. They sell it at market price so it was a little bit pricey, but I don't care the thing was so good. The seasoning, the way it was cooked, the portion size, everything about it was just awesome. The rib also had a damn good bark to it. Macaroni and cheese use actual cheese, so it had quite the stretch when I was trying to eat it The pork and beans was great, they used pulled pork for it. Reminded me how my mother used to make it The banana pudding tasted great and had a fantastic consistency. One common mistake I see with banana pudding at all places that I go to is that it's more yogurt than it really is pudding consistency. Their house made banana pudding was incredibly creamy and wasn't overly sweet, and of course was served with those necessary vanilla wafers. The restrooms were clean and well-managed, they're only two in the restaurant though so keep that in mind. This place was easily 5/5, my main gripe being the furniture just being incredibly uncomfortable while we sat there throughout our meal.

Do you like rancid potatoes, cheese curds in your Mac and cheese and boiled "smoked" meats...are these reviews real??? Because we certainly were fooled by the positive reviews this establishment received. As dinner started we had a wonderful impression on how nice everyone was and that was the last part of our experience. Our party of three are all extremely well versed in BBQ and in fact try it every chance we get. I even smoke meats myself. I can tell you none of this food was fresh off a smoker. I got the happy hour ribs and this should have raised a red flag ribs take time and should never be put on a happy hour menu. In fact I didn't even smell burning wood of a smoker(red flag #2). I got a side of Mac and cheese and pork and beans. We also ordered four sides mashed sweet potatoes and regular potatoes which smelled sour and tasted worse almost like boiled in a cleaning agent, and buttermilk would not have tasted in such a disgusting way. The Cole slaw was edible and that's it I had two ribs and my initial impression was that this was boiled. Lastly Mac and cheese is not hard to make but when your milk curdles and you have clumps in your cheese sauce it is awful looking and taste even worse. All in all the best part of this meal was the mannerisms. It ended off with denial from the manager and the waitress about the smell of our food. I highly advise anyone traveling through California in search for BBQ avoid this place, in fact go anywhere else! I'm sure the men making BBQ in carts across the street to CVS and Wholefoods will give you better service and more authentic experience to real homemade palatable food. I wish I could say I was sorry for this review but instead I'm sorry we wasted our time. I will say the mashed potatoes were taken off our bill. Thanks for nothing oh and the cornbread not sure how that is messed up but was also sent back to...

As soon as I rolled into Baby Blue's Barbecue, the mouthwatering aroma wrapped around me like a cozy blanket, promising a feast fit for a king—and boy, did it deliver! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and when it arrived, my eyes widened in sheer delight. The bun was soft yet sturdy, cradling a generous heap of succulent, slow-smoked pulled pork that was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Each bite was a glorious explosion of flavor, seasoned to perfection with a secret blend of spices that danced on my taste buds like a joyous jig. But let me tell you about those collard greens! Oh, sweet mercy! Cooked low and slow with just the right amount of smokiness and a hint of vinegar, they were so tender they nearly caved in to my eager fork. I savored every forkful, letting the rich, savory goodness linger as I gleefully plowed through my meal, feeling like a happy bear in a honey pot. I waddled out of there, my heart full and my stomach gloriously satisfied, already dreaming of my next indulgent visit to this BBQ paradise. Baby Blue’s is an absolute must for anyone like me who loves to embrace life one delicious bite at a time! As a disabled man (550-ish lbs) this restaurant was extremely accessible from a pragmatic stance. Highly recommend for all my plus-sized friends!
