Baklava Factory — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I went into the Baklava Factory as I always have but on this day I was looking for their sugar free Baklava for a diabetic family member. There was a heavy set woman working on both days that I went in. She had no idea which one was sugar free. She asked me to call the next day in the morning and ask the lady who makes them if they have any. I called the next day and the baker confirmed they had sugar free Baklava. I went in again and unfortunately the heavy set woman was there, not the baker, and she still had no clue which one was sugar free. She kept offering me the honey one, I informed her that honey is not sugar free. Frustrated with her, I asked her to call the owner or the baker. She couldn't get anyone on the phone. She started to get an attitude with me then asked me where I was from. Next thing you know she's cussing at me & throwing a fit. Completely unprofessional. I grabbed a card & called their other location to get the owner Anthony's phone #. I left him a message but never heard back. I have been going to Baklava Factory for years and never expected to experience such rude trash working there. We are not living in the middle east and the people you hire need to learn to have respect for their customers. They also need to be familiar with what they are selling. Not just stand there, throw up their hands, and say "I don't know, here take this one"! I absolutely LOVE all the baklava and pastry here and the employees are nice. BUT Baklava Factory has no REGULAR business hours! They open the store when they feel like it and close the store whenever, sometimes hours before their listed closing time. I have gone here half a dozen times at either their opening time or closing time and found the store closed an hour early, or waited in their parking lot for 25 minutes until someone bothered to show up for work and open the place. I even waited 15 minutes INSIDE the store one morning when the only employee there at the time told me she couldn't use the cash register until the morning shift manager showed up, which was 45 minutes AFTER their supposed opening time.

I wish Baklava Factory would honor a permanent set of business hours because it is frustrating to show up and they've closed 1.5 hours early, or no one has bothered to show up for work 30 minutes after opening. And this was all happening BEFORE there was ever a...

I have bought baklava here before and it is really good - the customer service is great. I am really disappointed however - I ordered some baklava via grubhub.com and my order NEVER came. I called the restaurant and the girl told me that they do not use GrubHub drivers - she also told me that my order was picked up - she was not sure by who and that this happens alot - GrubHub also confirmed that Baklava Factory uses their own drivers - someone is stealing the food from GrubHub customers NOT cool.
