We went there last nite, a group of 9, we had 4 adults 5 children. We placed the kids order in first and the price was reasonable for the kids from the kids menu. We ordered lemon Chicken, which, was very good, Chicken Parmigiano, Anti pasta salad, Chicken Alfredo pasta, and a cheese pizza. The food was excellent just way over priced. We ordered drinks, now this is the kicker, whoever was making the drinks 🍸 was watering it down, that's for sure because 4 Adults who just received their drinks and we all said the same thing, Now 1 person ordered a glass of red cabaret and once we received the check we saw that the bill was $545.00, which was crazy for a place like Buca Di Beppo. I understand a House wife of Beverly Hills, has become a partner ( Dorit K ) and has created an area to look like a famous place called the Capri Room, which, was beautiful with lemons 🍋 hanging from the ceiling on tree branches. So people, the food was excellent but the Alcohol drinks were horrible also we caught that we were charged for a 9' ounce of glass of red wine, which we told our waiter who wasn't attentive at all to us that this isn't correct, he agreed and fixed the bill from the 9 ounce charge, the place wasn't busy so there was no excuse for the waiter not to be attentive. Also watch out for the so called free complimentary photo guy who says it's a free photo 📸 and comes back with a free little picture of you and your party and also brings several 4 x 6 pictures in black border for $20.00 each which was an additional cost of $60.00 cash 💸. Not worth the money $36.00 a plate to $45.00 this is not for sea food or Steaks, or Shrimp, people, chicken, pasta, pizza. We could of went to Mortons or Ruth Chris steak house for $545.00
The place on a Saturday nite was empty, don't think they will last with these prices. Thanks to Beverly Hills house wife the prices jumped up ridiculously. I will not be going back...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to Buca di Beppo to celebrate Mexican Mother’s Day since Sunday I was on the line cooking for almost 12 hours. (12 pm to 11:30 pm) Our visit got off to a rocky start and to be honest didn’t fare very well. My wife approached the hostess and was overlooked. Literally the hostess helped a gentleman that walked up after my wife but never acknowledged her until I stepped forward. We were escorted at a booth and it took a while before anyone came to talk to us. A gentleman came up to us and took our order. He said that he would pass it on to our server who would be over shortly. He didn’t ask us what we wanted to drink, he just walked away with our order. We sat there undisturbed , pondering if our order was really placed or not. About half an hour later our server came up and took our drink order. He apologized for the wait and walked away. A few minutes later all our food came out at the same time with our drinks. We ordered calamari for our appetizer, Eggplant Parmesan and lasagna. The food was good, it felt as if it sat in the window waiting to be run out to the table but it was still enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was the Italian creme cake. It was light and delicious Now there was a lot of apologizing through the rest of our evening. I know what it is like to work on a busy night and I know there are times when tables have to wait. That’s when our managers walk over to the tables and apologize. They say let me take care of that dessert or that appetizer for you. They make you feel that they are truly sorry for the wait. That didn’t happen tonight and that would have been a sign that our patronage and patients were truly...
Read moreI tried taking into account this covid-19 situation that we are in but I'm not sure you can excuse ingredients that aren't fresh, the overall quality of food and the expected levels of service I have at any restaurant. I marveled at the 4.4 star rating that I saw on Google so I expected a pretty good experience. I'll say first of all after sitting outside alone for 15 minutes and watched the waiter pass by several times only to have the hostess come by and ask me if anyone came by i was already wondering. The waiter came by shortly and apologized but never came back. the hostess ultimately took my order but I was still hopefully at this point. the most awesome thing was the garlic bread it was fresh, the garlic was fresh and was my only good part of the meal. I ordered a linguine pasta with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken breast on the side (very specific). 20 minutes later now I'm about 50 minutes in and the meal comes out. I got probably the largest portion I've ever seen for a meal as advertised. I got cold fettuccine with an alfredo sauce that you would compare to classico out of the jar and I had to think to myself why am I paying for something that I can buy out of a jar? more appalling was the fact that the chicken breast was definitely old and refrigerated then reheated (I can tell). Very very disappointing. The only highlight again was the garlic bread. maybe restaurants are having trouble keeping fresh food since these covid-19 madness that we are all in. I'm not sure but this is not acceptable. I felt compelled to let others know so that this doesn't...
