Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I am conflicted on Barney’s. On the one hand, I thought the food was delicious and very visually appealing as well. On the other, service wasn’t very friendly, and the prices are high. I wasn’t sure what to rate it, but the taste and enjoyment of the food led to me giving it a higher rating.

Barney’s is a food stand in the Brentwood Country Market, a very cute area with lots of small shops and grocery stores, as well as other food stands/cafes. Some of them only take cash, although Barney’s will accept cards.

I was disappointed with the service that I received from the cashier. I felt as though she wasn’t friendly at all, and very impatient and slightly rude. We were handed a pager and had to wait about fifteen minutes for the food to be ready, which was a bit long, but not too bad.

The food itself I thought was incredible! The burger was one of the most visually pleasing and aesthetic burgers I’ve ever seen - I got the one with avocado, and it was a perfectly complement to the patty. I also loved the fries here! The portions are very generous as well, and will definitely leave you walking away very full!

Again, the prices here are definitely marked up for its location in a wealthy area, but I still enjoyed the meal here, and thought the food was delicious and had great quality to it. Overall, I feel I would recommend this place, since the food was...

Walked with my family here on Sunday night for dinner (Aug 27 2023), it says online they close at 6pm on Sundays. We arrived at 5:49pm and they had a CLOSED sign on the window. I asked the employee if we could still order since we walked all this way and they weren’t supposed to close til 6….He just shook his head and shrugged and said “sorry. All done”. Very disappointed. There were multiple families that arrived around the same time as us and I could tell were all equally disappointed. Not good business and forever leaves a bad taste...

Awesome but pricey burger Order the classic Barney burger with their curly fries. The bun smells amazing, nice thick juicy patty and the other ingredients are also very fresh tasting and looking. The burger has an amazing crunch when you bite into it. The curly fires where also very good, overall the food was great but for the price I would definitely wanted it to be a tad better or even grill the onions. Yes I understand this in Brentwood but if the burger was either a bit tastier or tad bit cheaper I would have rated this burger...
