Odd Nail Out — Local services in Los Angeles

First time customer I had friend recommend me to this place when I went I had showed them a picture of what I wanted they had told me gel x $70 and I couldn’t wait longer because the guy that I requested need to take his lunch so I was not going to wait and I left , I went the next day and I show him the picture and he tells me to get gel x with nude color and red French tip he was going to charge me 100$ that’s insane definitely over charging!! And I just left them plain ! I personally go somewhere else Decided to come here because I need my 💅 done ! But my nail lady would have charged me for what I wanted no lower than $70 the most ! That’s not okay to over charge customers ! And when you go inside this salon they have a sign TIPS please ! Tips are optional not REQUIRED!!!! You don’t do that !!!!! LITERALLY FORCING PEOPLE TO TIP THEM !!!! Definitely not coming...

There very BEST, ONE OF A KIND THE ENTIRE STAFF IS HELPFUL HAPPY AND GREAT PERSONALITY A LOT OF GREAT ENERGY IN THIS PLACE this is an update April 11th 2024 I had to take a star away because for some reason every time I go get my nails done now they start falling off in 2 or 3 days and I'm spending $100 at least percent so what's really going on now I don't know if it's the material or the person doing the nails and because the main lady used to do my nails but she keeps assigning me to other people who seem to be kind of new so I don't know that's what it is or not but I don't know I might have to be the odd one out and start going somewhere else because I can't just be wasting hundreds of dollars at a time I didn't even get my nails long and I didn't even get anything that was complicated just a regular...

They do good work but do not charge appropriately for their service. This behavior is very SCAM LIKE as they up charge from the standard price for the service. For example- I got full fresh set acrylics $90; went back in for a fill and they charged me $80 - a standard fill at ANY salon includes the length, color and acrylic fill - at this salon it’s a separate charge for each which doesn’t make sense. I didn’t do anything fancy it was just a French tip. Also got a standard gel pedicure - $40 again nothing fancy. This was fine; my fill should’ve been close to this price. I won’t be coming back for the foreseeable future bc the prices don’t make sense. I shouldn’t be paying $80 for a standard fill which they market on their list as starting at $55…. It shouldn’t go up...
