Boba - A Digital Dance with Disappointment (and a Side of Boba-less Boba) Prepare for a technological tango with their digital kiosk, which I'm fairly certain was designed by a committee of highly caffeinated squirrels. Ordering here isn't just frustrating; it's an anxiety-inducing adventure, leaving you questioning your life choices and whether you truly need that tapioca pearl. And speaking of pearls, apparently, their boba are like culinary Cinderella's — they're made fresh every night! Which is fantastic, unless, of course, the boba fairy forgets to wave her magic wand the night before, in which case you'll be staring at a sadly boba-less beverage. I'm still on a quest for my boba soulmate here, as most flavors have that 'generic powdered fruit' vibe. It's perfectly acceptable, mind you, but don't go expecting a real fruit fiesta in your mouth – unless it's a very dehydrated fruit fiesta. Thai Food - The MSG Mystery (and a Surprisingly Good Show) Now, for the Thai food, the staff gave me a cryptic warning: 'Saucy dish? Probably MSG. Can't remove it. You've been warned.' It was delivered with the gravitas of a secret agent divulging classified information, making me wonder if I'd stumbled into a culinary spy thriller. So, if you're cool with your taste buds doing the electric slide with a healthy dose of monosodium glutamate, then you're in for a treat! Despite the MSG plot twist, the food itself was surprisingly good, even if it did make me wonder if my phone was suddenly able to understand my thoughts. On the bright side, the place itself is quaint, clean, and tidy, offering a delightful juxtaposition to the chaotic boba ordering and the mysterious MSG. It's almost like a serene meditation space... until you try...
Read moreI LOVE THIS PLACE. I just went thirty minutes before closing time and I already want to go back. The lady who was working as the cashier was so nice and sweet. She complimented my jeans and was very patient when I was struggling to choose what to get. She even gave me some recommendations and helped me! While our conversation was short, it was a nice one that made my night. In the end, I got the mango smoothie and my friend got the Oreo. They were both delicious. The size of the drink was so TALL/BIG. The price wasn’t bad either just a little under $10 which is normal to me. I have never been full with a boba drink either but this time I was pretty full since the smoothie was big and not small like other places!! While it may not be the most fancy place inside, the place itself just had this nice vibe to it. I felt relaxed sitting in there drinking boba with friends. While waiting for our uber they were closing and gave us a smile, and wished us goodnight while walking towards their cars. Even when driving away they waved:) Such sweet people, the man and the woman. I wish I got their names and had money for tips but sadly I spent all of it that day. 10/10 Boba shop. I wish this shop, the owners, and the workers nothing...
Read moreSo happy to have a boba spot close to my workplace! The customer service was wonderful. The cashier was ready to suggest any recommendations. There were so many options on their menu, was hard to pick. I did enjoy what I chose, passion fruit with black tea, boba, and mango popping boba. The boba needed to be cooked a bit longer and still tasted undercooked not with the soft chewiness it should be. I also tried one of their snack/lunch options. I enjoyed their tom yum chicken with takis. The flavor took me by surprise but it was delish, just wish they had spicy mayo to dip the chicken in. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely come back for...
