Today, we came for an early lunch two of my classmates. They were not from this area. My classmates ordered Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Shoyu Ramen. They both said the ramen and the broth were really good! I ordered Chicken Reka noodles. I enjoyed it a lot that I finished the entire dish leaving nothing but the plate, fork and knife! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This place is small but it's always busy! Recommended to others & ramen lovers. Sometimes it's a bit hard to find parking space since the lot is small and it's shared with other good restaurants and bakery next door. Service was good. Somewhat pricy but good taste with pretty good quality and decent portions. ------------------------------------- OLD REVIEW: Came for Takoyaki & Squid Kaarage. Asked for both to be well done. They came out very quickly. Takoyaki was great but my squid was not really like kaarage style. It was cold and very greasy. It was about 5 tables of people eating. Probably they were trying to rush. It won't stop me from going back though.

I ordered on Uber Eats yesterday (though they appear as "Slurp Ramen" on there), and had a bad experience. The plastic bowl for the ramen cracked at the bottom, spilling most of my soup. Plastic says PP on it, but looks more like PS to me (poor QC). Either way, this does not speak of an in-person experience. Maybe my fault for ordering delivery. The things that upset me the most are that they charge over $12 for 5 pieces of takoyaki, and 2 of them did NOT have octopus, but what looked like dried fish; while the other 3 had the tiniest piece of octopus. Lastly, they offer "free" beef buns when you spend over a certain amount, which I did, and got something different, and only 1, not 2 like their picture shows on Uber Eats (false advertising). I know profit margins are lower for restaurants with delivery services than in-person, but if you are going to offer them, please do it right. Otherwise, the food was tasty.

I remember when this location first opened up. A lot of this place felt authentic and a must-try. At first glance, these prices are clearly $2 to $4 overpriced compared to the competition. We ordered anyways. To our delight, the presentation of items meets this price point. Felt fancy, a touch above the rest. None of that styrofoam nonsense, but good Tupperware type disposables. The taste though, is where this place fell flat. The ramen was impossibly bland. It was just a hair below, ok. To our surprise, we noticed they were still there months later. How? After exhausting other options we decided to give them another try. A conscious decision was made to skip the ramen and try something else entirely. I tried their Chicken Katsu Curry and a Spicy chicken dish. Those, were actually pretty good. And again the presentation was amazing. Stars may fluctuate in the future. Ramen 2 stars. Chicken Katsu Curry 4 stars.

EDIT two years later: I honestly cannot believe they still have blizzful listed on here, after taking my money and then lying and saying they don't take orders from blizzful. What a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM ONLINE. My worst experience with a restaurant still to this day- I still can't believe they wouldn't do anything to make up for it.

Pretty sure they stole money from me. Here on Google, they give you the option to order through blizzful. I ordered, PAID, and they called me almost 10 minutes after saying that they don’t use blizzful (yet somehow they got the notification??). I said ok but I’d still like the food. I got there to pick it up, and showed them that blizzful’s policy says that the restaurants themselves handle the refunds. They said no, they don’t, because they don’t use blizzful. I really needed food and was in a time crunch so just said screw it and paid the SAME amount to them anyways. They really shouldn’t have even charged me for it but I guess customer service isn’t important. So now I have to call my bank and report the charge as unauthorized. Lol. Bad business practices, never again.

And best thing- this was two weeks ago. They STILL HAVE THE OPTION to order that way on this Google business profile, after I specifically (and very kindly) mentioned to them in person that they should do...

I placed an online order for Miso and Chicken Shoyu Ramen. The description on the menu for this item was:

"Wavy noodles in our special chicken shoyu broth topping with shredded steamed chicken, bamboo shoots, kikurage mushroom, fish cake, half-boiled egg and scallions rayy' for $18.50"

When it got here it was cold. What I got was a small pile of kikurage, a half boiled egg, a clump of sticky over-cooked cold noodles that looked like a ball of yarn, a sliver of fish cake, 2 small rubbery bamboo shoots, no scallions, a lot of dry shreds of rotisserie chicken, and a tasteless cold broth. It was horrible, I had to throw it out.

The place has a 4.3 rating and over 300 reviews. I wasn't expecting the food to be gourmet, I expected to be good. Maybe it was a fluke - the regular chef was out sick, they were running out of fish cake and bamboo shoots, nobody was watching the noodles. Who knows. The only nice thing I can say is that the delivery guy...
