First and foremost, this is a QR restaurant so not only they don't have a physical menu, their TVs don't even showcase anything worthwhile but random channels. Extremely inconvenient should you have someone older in your party who is not tech savvy. This place looks clean and high scale, typical for a college town storefront, and it looks pleasing enough with its cultural decoration. As I have said before, being a strictly QR code restaurant means the employees will not take verbal order of any kind, and must be done via mobile. I know this is a tactic to save on labor, but I get it. The food are served surprisingly fast, to the point of *too fast*. It definitely feels like they were just heating it up. I can not confirm how authentic the food was for not being Chinese, but the pork combo rice dishes were very spicy 🥵 🌶️ for our palettes. Forget the authenticity because does it matter if they don't taste good in the first place?

OMG! Worst customer service and some of the grossest food ever. When you tell the cashier about something being wrong with your order, they get an attitude. They are not very professional in front of other people because they yell at each other all the time while cooking your food. The worst part is that the food is not even edible and they get upset when you say something to them about it. The noodles they tried to serve looks like worms mashed with expired chicken. It’s a reason they have a B rating. Don’t eat there. You’ve been warned!

Service: Awful — We were greeted with this girl with an attitude and she had it the entire time we were there. I understand cultural differences, but my god was this one girl so rude to us the entire time. She was dismissive, rolled her eyes, and couldn’t manage an ounce of empathy (we will return to this).

Ambiance: Meh — The tables were so close together that I was basically eating at an elementary school cafeteria. The wait staff were not any better because (especially the girl) was dismissive and rude.

Food: Slightly better than bad, but not good — We ordered the fried beef noodles and bean with sesame sauce. Mind you, nothing on their online ordering menu talks about allergens and the modification button appears so quickly that you don’t even notice it until it’s gone. You can’t really even order in person because they have everything through their website. The noodles were cold, but decent but my issue is with the beans with sesame sauce. I took one bite from the beans with sesame sauce and noticed the very prevalent peanut flavor. I am quite literally deathly allergic to peanuts. My friend had called the waitress over and asked what was in the beans with sesame sauce and the waitress confirmed that there were peanuts in the sauce. My friend was explaining that I am very allergic to peanuts and the waitress stared at me with such annoyance that I wished I had peeled over and died. She dismissed my allergy, took the food, and took it off the bill, but there was no apology, no trying to make things better, not even help. So yea, after washing my mouth with mouth wash (why they have mouth wash I’m not sure, but I’m really glad it was there), taking a couple benadryls, and monitored my symptoms, we were about to leave when I saw that we were still being charged for our lunch. Did I expect to pay after the restaurant neglected any allergen protocols and almost killed me, no quite frankly. But there I was, arguing with the once again rude waitress who said that we only paid for rice instead of the whole meal. Last I checked, rice isn’t $25, but sure okay. I am deeply disappointed by my entire experience and I hope no one else experiences the...

The food is absolutely delicious. But the service is pretty poor. Not because the wait staff is rude or anything, but because how this restaurant takes orders.

You sit down at the table and you're supposed to look at the menu online (totally understand that woth covid and not having to hand out menus that need to be cleaned and stuff.) But you're supposed to order online too, then get a code sent to your phone number and then use that code to login into their system and place the order.

The system glitched, said my order was recieved when it wasn't. Overall very frustrating experiece because we were there for at least 1.5 hours. No one came to check on us. No one came to take our order.

The biggest kicker is that there were not even directions on the table about how to order. The system is far too confusing. The food tastes amazing. But not for this level of stress.

Tbh what happened to simply placing your order at the counter or giving your order to the wait staff at the table? That was far simpler.

Too many places nowadays try to make things "easier" by doing everything online, but it just makes the process more complicated and frustrating. Like why do I have to give you my number, wait for a code, and punch in the code to your system to order? Can't I just tell someone my order?

In the cashiers defense he tried to take my order when I asked what was going on. But I'm sorry after 2 hours of being there I didn't feel like waiting any longer and just wanted to go home.

There is no reason to make the food ordering process more complex. We should just tell the order to the waiter or order at the counter! That simple! If it's not broke...

Updating my review as the restaurant reached out to me and resolve the misunderstanding. Like I said before, the food was good! Personally it was 4/5 for me - some dishes were too salty. However, I'll give them +1 because my mom really enjoyed the food. She's asking when we're going back! She said it reminded her of back home.

Food was good but I have to write a poor review because I was double charged on my credit card haven't been able to contact anyone to get the transaction reversed.

The restaurant uses QR codes on their tables to order items and pay the bill. However, I had a large party seated across two tables next to each other. As mentioned before, food and service was good, when the time came to pay the bill I scanned and paid via the QR code - about 80% of the bill and I was moving to scan the 2nd code to pay the remaining balance. While doing this, the cashier presented a total bill to us and had disabled the online pay system in between me making the two separate payments.

Despite my objections, the cashier insisted that the QR payment would not go through and that I should give her my CC to pay the full tab. Unsurprisingly the charge was not reversed and despite multiple phone calls with the restaurant trying to navigate through the dispute process with my bank, I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone able to correct the restaurant's error.

Lesson learned, I guess. For what it's worth,...
