Christy's Donuts — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Christy's is by far the best donut shop in San Pedro Ca. Great service very clean. Donuts taste as good and look mich like Krispy Kreme. I have found the donuts here to be much better than Winchell's, and Dunkin and for sure the others in the area.. The donuts look and taste very fresh and not greasy at all and have a wonderful glaze on the ones that need to have a glaze. Whoever bakes these treats knows what they are doing. Shop and Showcases are spotless unlike a lot of other places in Pedro and Long Beach. The owners are hands on and make sure everything is perfect for every guest. The ladies here were VERY friendly and the donuts we got, sugar-twists, were better than any donuts over ever had in my life. When I asked why they're so good I was told by the lady "We only use top ingredients (flour) because I like to eat them too." They also said they're sandwiches are pretty good but I have yet to try them. I dropped a few stars on the Atmosphere because the strip mall they're in isn't the friendliest and the store could use some updating. But hey, I go there for great donuts, not to hang out...😄 Truly worth going back to...

I have driven past this place for years and then I volunteered to bring donuts to work when the regular guy couldn't. I was very pleasantly surprised by the many choices they had to offer. It was fun picking a dozen out. I didn't have time to grab coffee but they had a bunch of customers that were waiting just for that. It's a cash only business so be prepared.
