The Sardine — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Great underground spot to see bands! Reasonable door prices + reasonable drink prices. It has a very DIY indie punk rock vibe. Sardine also has a little record store inside it.. Two stages here, a smaller, more intimate one + a larger room with a larger stage in the next room for touring + national acts. Large patio area with picnic tables for seating. Often food is served by outside caterers on patio such as tacos, sandwiches, etc. (there are also nearby taco stands on the street). Street parking is easily found. The sound is very good here and you'll enjoy seeing bands here. I prefer to come to this venue instead of downtown or Hollywood venues. The non-corporate vibe is thick and the place is thriving. Discovered this gem of a bar by accident. And boy am I glad that I did. You walk in and your greeted by jukebox blaring some punk rock music, Straight ahead is the bar , walk past the bar up the steps through a door and your in the part where the bands play. Walk past the band straight ahead and up some steps again and your outside where they are showing movies on a big TV screen, a DJ was playing outside and they have another bar outside as well. The patrons there were super chill, bartender was nice, security at the door were also super chill. Looking forward to...
