Cilantro Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Love the food in this place and whenever I have to go to LAX I stop in. Been doing this for maybe 15 -20 years. I think the staff is not as friendly as it used to be...I asked the girl at the counter if I could have a few more chips, she said "No I'm sorry.." I thought to myself "Really? You're closing in an hour, there's 2 people in here, you've got this huge tray of chips.." a few minutes later she brought over a little French fry bag of chips, and gave me an apology...not that her saying no was rude, but I had tried to be friendly & complimentary to them earlier and they didn't respond or even smile. I said "I love this place. I live a long way away and I can't wait to stop in when I come to LAX!!" The girl looked at me with the coldest stare and just waited on me pick which rice I wanted. I said " oh I'm sorry..." she just looked at me holding the spoon up & waiting. It was cold for sure. I think there's some serious burnout with the employees or customers have been rude and they are sick of people or something, which could be the case. I just took a shuttle to a parking place, and this older woman told the Mexican driver "Don't put your haves on my bag!!" He said " Don't holler at me like that!" She responded " You shut up and don't talk to me" I thought man on man...the hostility, impatience & entitlement workers have to deal with is off the charts these days. I'm sure these employees deal with an onslaught of hollering and attitudes...Nonetheless, overall I'd say it's one of the best vegan burrito options around so I'll withstand...

Really delicious food! Can't deny the food is great here... but if any staff member ever mistreats and kicks out an ACTUAL customer that literally just bought the restaurant's food and it's SOLEY based on that customer's physical appearance again, I hope I won't be present. I'm a nobody and even if I stop coming it's just one less customer out of maybe hundreds BUT I'm good at embarrassing others and calling them out when they do wrong to others. To anyone reading this review, I want to point out that this male staff member was not only is it disrespectful because he is judging someone on their looks that maybe don't look as neat as others, but his actions was also unreasonable because this customer was literally SITTING and being to themselves wearing well-kept clothes, had normal materials, CLEAN NEW shoes, and actual GOOD hygiene. There was no good reason to kick them out. This customer was literally waiting for someone to pick them up. It was cold outside and they were just hungry. They weren't being disrespectful, noisy,...

4 stars the Chicken bowI. 1 star for the RIP OFF HELP! LOVE the Chicken Bowl w Cilantro sauce and green rice . However the assistant front cashier charged EVERYONE 12.99 NO MATTER WHAT!!! Even tho' the sign CLEARLY says 8.99 special. Its FALSE ADVERTISING. They NEVER mention every item is an extra 1.99. I introduced new people to this place based on promotion and one was a tourist. That cashier CREEP charged EVERYONE 13.00 even tho' they didn't tell them about the extra fee!!
