Taco Truck/ Taqueria Guadalupana — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I don't know how this place has a 4.4 ratings when the food here is bland. I ordered a chicken burrito and my boyfriend ordered the asada fries meanwhile with brother and his girlfriend ordered tacos, we got a little bit of everything. My burrito was big but quantity or quality is not better. It was a $10 burrito that I feel like I paid for only rice and beans, the chicken had no to little flavor. Their carne asada is very chewy and flavorless so the fries were disappointing aswell. It's a good amount of food that you get but if you want good quality meat or flavor you're better off going to Marielas Taco Truck which was not too far from there anyways. If we are talking about the truck on Westchester Parkway by Sepulveda, then we are talking serious good eats. Taco Dollar on La Tijera was a standby, but Guadalupana has eclipsed them. The asada is flavorful. The tacos are great. The avocado salsa is spicy and yummy with a great consistency. We enjoy the nachos and the asada fries. The portions are such that in the mornings we have leftovers and scramble them with eggs. If you’re looking for delicious tacos that won’t break the bank, this place is a hidden gem! The prices are super cheap, the staff is incredibly polite, and the food is absolutely worth it. I had the pork tacos in green salsa—10/10, seriously some of the best I’ve had. Flavorful, juicy, and perfectly spicy.
