Was pretty pumped to find a new spot with parking, wifi, food, etc. nearby as Iâm always looking for a good study spot.
They didnât ask me if I wanted my drink for there or to-go and gave me a drink for there.
Had they asked, I would have said to-go, since the lid tends to keep a drink warmer. And from my experience, to-go is usually the default.
The drink was luke warm when I got it. I was kinda bummed so after contemplating a while I went up and said, âsorry I donât mean to be annoying but is there any way to heat it up, I wanted it to go, and didnât want it to get cold so fast.â
As someone who has bartended/made coffee for a long time, Iâd just offer to remake it hot in a to-go cup. Instead they said thereâs no way for them to do that, but said they could add some warm milk.
They did, and then put the cup down at the opposite end of the bar, and said âitâs over thereâ even though I was visibly walking slowly with a cane / injury. They could have easily handed it to meâŚ
They then walked right past me. Lame vibes. Friends and I...
Read moreItâs certainly âone stop shopâ with dedicated free parking garage, a ton of seats, moderate noise, and tons of food/drink options. As if itâs not enough, they opened until pretty late, serving till 6pm! Price wasnât bad as well, compared relatively to similar ones around.
I got their Cubano, which I thought was pretty close to Spanish Latte as it used Cinnamon-flavor syrup. Iâd say the coffee was decent for making it to my regular-visit list especially if I needed a spot for working, just stepping away from my home desk.
Knowing some people did hype about their chocolate chip cookie, it was another one I surely didnât skip. Wouldnât say itâs coming into my favorite list, but itâs pretty yum, especially if youâre the one fancying your cookie being crispy outside, just slightly chewy inside. The chocolate chunks were generously featured as well.
Prolly would be back for...
Read moreI was really excited when this place opened up because I live right across the street â I can only assume itâs not a great place to be a barista because they had excellent and engaging staff and nearly everyone has left and been replaced by a wave of seemingly slightly apathetic staff⌠more than anything I canât stand the music thatâs on now⌠half the time itâs like turn-up rap, not exactly the vibe most of us are looking for in a cafe. Food is overpriced (like most places) and generally unhealthy options. All good things come to an end I guess, hopefully commissary has a second phase...
