Coffee Fix — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Coffee Fix on our interview date.

Playing into statements referencing needing a ‘coffee fix,’ Coffee Fix in Studio City jumped on board with an easily recognizable name for their community focused shop. Cool neutrals mixed with floral (a gorgeous flower-y accent wall decal) and a rotation of local artwork being featured along the walls (also glimpse the group of elephant murals on the outside of the building courtesy of Matt Shapira) truly showcase a sense of artistic support. From the minute you step in the door, you will be greeted with welcoming vibes from their friendly baristas serving customers the elixir of life and light indie music dancing around your ear waves in the background. You’ve got your classic coffee offerings and scrumptious pastries for you to enjoy at any time of the day with your best friend, lover, family member, and everything in between. Plus, the punch cards really are a nice touch for frequent visitors to have even more of a reason to stop in for pastry happy hour or a simple...

This spot used to offer great breakfast sandwiches and other fare in addition to decent coffee and tea. The food is all gone from the wall menu now. I walked in on a Sunday morning to find a few bagels available and a couple pastries in the case, but nothing else. I walked up to the counter. There was one man behind the counter working on something, so I waited. A woman and child walked in, and she must be a regular because he stopped what he was doing, chatted with her, got a pastry out of the case for the kid, and took it into the back. Then another woman came out from the back, and I figured she would take my order since the guy was helping the woman behind me. Nope, she looked right past me and started helping the woman behind me. I had come to get a lox and bagel, which they don't seem to have anymore anyway, so I walked out. With all the other solid to excellent nearby options, I don't see any reason to go here unless you're already pals...

Coffee Fix has become our favorite spot, and we find ourselves here every single day. From the moment we first walked in, we knew this place was something special. My boyfriend and I are pretty picky when it comes to coffee, but Coffee Fix has consistently impressed us with their exceptional offerings. But it’s not just the coffee that keeps us coming back—it's the amazing staff. They’re the heart and soul of this place, always greeting us with warmth and genuine care.
