PREMIER RESTAURANT & BAR — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Wow. Absolutely the worst experience at a Russian restaurant ever. Management should be embarrassed. We were there a week ago for a birthday celebration and I don't even know where to begin, but let's try:

1. Service was horrendous. The servers were doing us a favor by even being there. You have to ask for a clean plate. You have to ask for a dessert plate when cake comes out. They bring food to one side of the table and not the other. They actually came over to our side of the table, grabbed a bottle of vodka, and moved it to the other side. Are you kidding me? Go get another bottle.
2. There wasn't enough food! I've never seen guests leave hungry from a Russian restaurant. How is that even possible? Not only was there not enough food on the table, but they would bring a portion for 5 people and leave it on one side of a table seating 20 people. The other side never ever saw half the food that came and the rest of us chopped up tiny portions.
3. The place smelled like charcoal. They started to light charcoal for hookahs at the bar area smelling up the entire restaurant. Just disgusting when you're trying to eat.
4. $150 a head just to go pick up fast food after leaving? I'm not even going to comment on the food quality, I honestly can't because there wasn't enough for me to try everything. But to charge $150 a guest and not have enough for everyone is insane. For those that know Russian restaurants, you know there are ALWAYS leftovers. You probably go home with 3 days of leftover appetizers and kabob. They gave us a few slices of cake that were leftover. Unreal.

This was an embarrassing experience for this restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here four years ago and it was amazing. Food was good, entertainment was great. These days it's absolutely horrific.

I highly encourage everyone to find a different Russian restaurant to host your big event at. You will only be embarrassed hosting...

$400 dinner review experience. First of all, $30 for the valet is atrocious. I pay less at other places and even amusement parks. Secondly, staff is rude immediately upon arrival. And then food is mediocre. I'm sure a lot of it was frozen and then just "cooked." Not fresh at all. No dessert, which, at the very least, they could have given cookies. The simplest of desserts and lowest effort one at that. I would have taken even frozen ones since I paid $400, may I remind you. The entertainment was laughable. None of the dancers were talented, and it looked like they had just learned the choreography. The singers were good, at the very least. I can not deny their talent. Waited almost an hour next entrees I forgot to add. I asked for water various times, and not once did i get plain water. Just soda and sparkling water. Overall, this dinner did not feel like a premier $400 dinner. Will not come back to this restaurant ever again. Take your money elsewhere. Korean bbq is better bang for your buck and you get what you want to...
