We were celebrating some good news today, so I wanted to treat the family to some ice cream. I placed an order ahead of time at about 2:40pm and scheduled it to be picked up at 5:45pm. I ordered a quart of ice cream with some mix-ins. When I got there, I was asked if I was ready and helped promptly. I told them I was picking up an order of ice cream and told them my name. There was a small compact - what I assume is a freezer - right behind the counter. The representative opened it and pulled out a bag with my name on it and handed it to me.
When I got home and opened the container, the ice cream was completely liquid. I know it wasn't the commute, because I literally live like 2 minutes away from this location. What a disappointment. I told my family to wait a few hours and maybe it would be frozen enough for us to eat right before going to bed. 3 hours later, I pulled it out of the freezer and it had at least become semi-frozen. Good enough I guess. I put it into bowls and told everyone to eat really quickly because it was quickly becoming liquid again. We found a few marshmallows in the ice cream. Not good, because marshmallows have an ingredient that is against our religion. Another disappointment.
Honestly, their ice cream is really good. That's why they charge exorbitant prices I guess. But this experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. In the future, I will never order ahead of time. They need to get a real freezer for people placing orders. They are an ice cream...
Read moreOn the 23rd of December I called to inquire about purchasing the largest Ice Cream sheet cake you have. The young lady that answered the phone at 6:36pm was absolutely not good for business. I started off by asking "How large is your largest Ice Cream Sheet Cake? She said she did not hear me so I repeated myself. After asking the same question again she began to tell me what flavors are available in various styles of sheet cakes. I again asked her "HOW LARGE IS YOUR LARGEST ICE CREAM SHEET CAKE? Again she begins to tell me what flavors are available. I say "You must not be hearing me right, I am not asking what flavors, I want to know the size. At this time she again tells me the flavors. Sorry but after 4 attempts and recieving the same irrelevant answer, I was a little irritated and said to her "Are you not listening or are you ignoring me?" At this point this very clueless person HUNG UP ON ME. I immediately called back and she was so professional that she wouldn't even answer the phone. She let it go to voicemail. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL CAN YOU BE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Baskin Robbins ended up getting my $72 order for a large sheet cake to be picked up today.
