of her anyways after I paid $30 for my meal and for my wife we sat down in a table and waited for our food to be ready I can see the cashier young lady that took my order went and put my order of French fries into the microwave to heat up I said to myself wait a minute I just paid $3.25 for those fries which were not fresh also I did notice they had the chicken sitting on a sheet pan on top of a counter just out there I don't know how long that was out for the thing that got to me is not how the food was presented to me or givin it's the way I was treated in the way I went up to the same young lady and told her about the fries she just gave me they were still cold and stale from sitting some were in the kitchen after I told her she did not say anything to me she snatched from my hand and through in the trash and told the cook I need a fresh order of French fries at that moment I was really bothered by her actions her being the face of this location representing the franchise like this is unexpectable she completely I felt there was an attitude change from her to me I told my wife Wow I can't believe what kind of service I just got I was super surprised anyways after the fries were redone she yelled out "fry is ready" again didn't say anything to me not even engaged in saying "I'm sorry about that " or "here are your fresh fries" she left them there on the counter so I can get them she was ongoing talking to the cook about her not having a boyfriend also how for her some one in her life is just a complete waste of her time we'll as I tried to enjoy my meal I noticed that the same young lady turned off the music inside the restaurant also turned on the air conditioning in the dining room area remember it just rained a few hours ago and the temp. Outside was 52 degrees at least that's what my phone was reading while I was there I was trying to eat my dinner there was terrible I was freezing my butt off with my wife I did not get the chance to really enjoy my meal I was more of putting an extra jacket on and getting close to a oven to be warm again the food was okay it could of been better if it was done properly I would give a 5 star rating but I gave it a 2 because this all was because of lack of " CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WERE VERY POORLY " I would rather have great service in a way and even if the food was okay like tonight this would be a 5 star rating because customer service would compensate the food it's like a scale to balance out what I feel as a customer I really hope some one from this location pays attention about what I just texted here I took this off my own time to share every detail that I could share because I feel this is not fair in a way how I was treated as a paying customer and also due to not serving food correctly and at its temperature especially chicken that has been sitting who knows how long on that stainless steel table with no heatlamps or steamtable that is disturbing if she had a "SERV SAFE CERTIFICATE" hanging on the wall some were if I were the Health Department officer I would for sure put who ever was in charge on check about how my crew is working I believe the manager in charge does set the example in a place like this remember this place does not have 99 cent wings this place serves meals $10 and up more attention should be paid in order to get better reviews especially in people like this crew that was not even a bit careful about customers like myself that paid so they can have part of thier paycheck paid from what I spent there this goes out to the people that work there " PAY ATTENTION BE NICE GREET CUSTOMERS DONT MICROWAVE FOOD THAT HAS BEEN SITTING OUT ON A TABLE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG ALSO TALK TO CUSTOMERS LOOK AT THEM DONT BE OBNOXIOUS OR BE RUDE INCONSIDERATE DONT THINK ABOUT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS JOB YOU HAVE THERE THIS GOES OUT TO THAT YOUNG LADY THAT TOOK MY ORDER YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Read moreGood place, good food, good staff. ...Just, if you remember the old school, original franchise from before something just feels off. It feels more fried and disheveled. Over time some companies have been found guilty of changing their recipes and adding more sugar, more fat, more processed, etc, and it's been sad to see this franchise heading in that direction as well. In today's day and age this franchise could easily rival El Pollo Loco along it's health standards (they're recommended by the american heart association), and yet instead it feels like a crossover between mcdonald's and something latin american. I'm not afraid to call out the franchise for being lame in that sense. Overall, though, the flavor is kind of still there and that's the gist of a franchise, so I can't say it isn't performing it's function. Here's to hoping they can alter the recipe again to make it 'leaner' (I understand 'healthier' is a loaded word that doesn't take into consideration the overall dietary intake of the individual, yet leaner feels more appropriate especially when making the comparison to El Pollo Loco). I definitely will give credit for having some other traditional options that other supposed latin american fast food franchises have not (looking at you El Pollo Loco franchises that don't serve even a commercialized version of horchata, smh.) I used the restroom because my son had an emergency and I saw one of the employees used the restroom and did not wash her hand at all I told the manager but she wasn't helpful at all she said the employee wash her hands inside the cooking area but California law says wash you hand before returning to work a day she didn't do it they were all mad because I changing my sons diaper in the bathroom what's so wrong with that I don't see it the manager is very rude and don't know how to deal with customers I was a customer here and I was treated like I was nothing important to them. People just be carefull with this place they don't wash their hands their nasty.
