I came here for the first time to get the famous tres leches cake for my husbands birthday. I ordered the cake 2 weeks in advanced just to pick up a blank cake the day of. I was so disappointed. I went to pick up the cake and it was completely blank although I asked for it to say “happy birthday Salman” and there were no berries although I asked for it. There was no baker available at this time (11 am) and the cashier admitted she was not good at writing in icing as she recently started. It was honestly upsetting as I ended up adding a topper and the chef tried to do my husbands name. The employee who was kind added the berries but overall the cake did not appear as nice as I hoped. Went for lunch after reading good reviews on Google. I ordered Pollo Saltado because there is a pictures on the door and inside, the waitress also said it's the best Peruvian food they offered. It looks delicious and lots of meat priced at $13,95. Not only it's full of oil, very little meat with lots of fries and cup of rice, but the meat was very tough. My sister had 1/4 chicken served with fries and bean, there is a bit of spice and salt, nothing special at$10,95 not worth it. I was just on Google looking for places that sell Tres Leches cakes for my friends birthday. I browsed a few different places before calling Coppelias. The woman that answered gave me several different options over the phone. The place is clean and looks very professional and when I arrived the woman knew it was me she had talked to and helped me. She was patient while I looked at the options and offered to add writing and fruit to the mango tres leches I decided on.
