I recently dined at "Curry in Hurry," and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. I ordered the Chicken Masala with white Jasmine rice, Garlic Nan, and a refreshing Mango Lassi drink. The flavors were absolutely divine, with the perfect blend of spices creating a delightful culinary symphony. The Chicken Masala was tender, and the pairing with the fragrant Jasmine rice was impeccable. The Garlic Nan was a heavenly addition, perfectly baked and complementing the main dish flawlessly.
What truly set this dining experience apart was the exceptional service provided by the owner. Her warmth and genuine concern for customer satisfaction were evident when she visited my table not once, but twice during the meal. The first visit was to ensure everything was to my liking, and the second was a delightful surprise as she offered a sample of a spicier chicken dish. This personal touch added an extra layer of hospitality that made my visit memorable. "Curry in Hurry" is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where delicious flavors meet exceptional service. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone craving an authentic and delightful Indian...
Read moreI'm known to drive around town finding the best Hindu restaurants. I've eaten on some really good and really expensive ones. NO ONE compares to curry in a hurry. The lady (i think the owner) has such a bright, positive aura, when you walk in, it welcomes you and embraces you. She's always smiling and explains everything you need to know, so if it's your first time trying Indian food, you won't feel intimidated. The food, oh my God, what can I say. It would be the equivalent of dying and going to food heaven! I always get the 3 items plate, that way i can try a bit of everything. Mango chicken is good, chicken Tikka masala, chicken curry, chicken korma. Do not get a plate without ordering the garlic naan, chicken samosa, and to complete, get the Mango drink, which i forgot the name, but she knows when you ask her. It's like a mango yogurt smoothie. The best thing you'll ever have!!! This place is the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant: inside a little shopping site, you would never guess you will have the best Indian food in the whole Los Angeles. I've been here many times, then i try others, and i end up coming back. Nothing beats curry...
Read moreOUTSTANDING. Outstanding service, outstanding food. Ordered Chicken Biriyani (spicy) along with garlic naan an order of chicken Samosas and a mango lassi; incredible. The flavors are quite literally melting in my mouth. Hot , fresh, and cooked to perfection. I had to share my experience immediately! Every bite of the biriyani thus far has been magical a solid 9/10!! Garlic naan a solid 8.5/10 well balanced just a bit thin for naan! Chicken Samosas 6/10 they’re bursting with flavor however they’re on the dryer side so that was a definite deal breaker for me but I can’t negate the amazing taste and flakiness of the samosa!(if they weren’t so dry a definite 8/10!) Mango lassi 10/10!!!! I grew up on lassi’s and their mango lassi really does it for me! The inside is cute & cozy with a cafeteria line setup. Everyone from the back of house to front is polite and attentive (we love a highly engaged team)! Pretty sure it’s family owned , which for me , definitely ensures another return! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!...
