Used to be the BEST Del Taco in existence. I remember it being built 1999. About ten years ago or so...started going downhill...here is my recent interaction and my recent letter to corporate cause they wanted to know what was going on when I made a Facebook comment that they are closing earlier than closing time. They wrote back asking my experience and stating that it "was NOT cool with us - this kind of behavior, work ethic and practice" Here it is:
Store 988 - Something I've noticed the past several years - is that the Drive-Thru closes down before the actual closing scheduled time. Last nite August 15th 2021 - the time for closing is Midnight. At 10:39 I went to Drive-Thru and it was coned off...lights off inside and no one around!!?! No one inside the building either.
I went there today, Monday August 16th at 12:45 pm for lunch and asked who was Manager last nite. I was told Maria Villa. I've known her for years. She is rude. When you ask for Mild Sauce she gives you ketchup, in the bag. I've watched her over the past ten years - she's lazy. Walks around. You should have someone go in when she is on and order from her.
Night time is horrible. Orders always wrong. Tacos missing lettuce and cheese. It's like someone is literally throwing it together in a non-caring and messy way. Cold food served up when it should be hot and fresh. Morning time and lunch is better usually.
I also asked what their opening and closing times were and if they were accurate posted on the outside drive-thru window? I was told yes
The times are Sun-Thurs 7am-Midnite and Fri-Sat 7am-1:00am
Additional note: I went there last week and ordered a Double Del Cheeseburger and was told they had no hamburgers...so today I asked and was told that the item was still unavailable. They told me that it wasn't burgers but that they haven't received any hamburger buns at all...in two weeks??!? Someone isn't running this establishment efficiently.
Then my today order was supposed to have the 2for$5 burritos. I received, after I got home, two bean and cheese small ones.
I paid $5 and got like a $.99 or $.49 bean and cheese ones. The chicken soft taco was fine as well as the large fries.
I think the worst part is the Manager & employees leaving & shutting down the store before they are supposed to....
Read moreOrdered 2 del tacos and a large fry. One of the managers ended up giving me a drink. I then asked her did she charge me for the meal because it was cheaper and she said yes and lied. My order ended up coming out without fries and I didn't even want a drink because I brought water. I asked her politely where my fries were and she responded back to me with an attitude like I did something wrong or asked her to work there. Then instead of fixing my order she ran into the office and shut the door. Luckily one of her employees an associate has more sense than her and traded my large cup for a large fry like I had asked for in the first place. I respect myself more than being lied to and treated like trash especially when I'm spending my money and I don't have to. I love del taco but I will not be going there anymore especially this location and I will be telling everyone I know not to go there as well. The food used to be way better as well they barely put any meat in my tacos so this just put a nail in the coffin and I won't be doing business with them anymore and neither will anyone I know. Good job losing a loyal customer... I don't pay to get disrespected. They should hire some new managers or move...
Read moreI came September 24 at 11:35pm. This place closes early so that it is convenient for the employees! I was in the drive thru lane behind multiple cars, only to pull up to the ordering window at 11:40pm, to be told they were closed. The website says they close at midnight. The signage on the door says the drive thru closes at midnight. I asked why are they closing early when everything says they close at midnight. They said they were closed because they were cleaning. There were about 6 cars who had to leave because of this. THIS IS TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE. Either close at midnight or change your signage and online time to close at whatever time you will no longer accept drive thru orders. How does a business do this? It is not fair for customers to plan their route only to arrive at a closed location. I have a picture of the manager who was very rude and said she didn’t care if I complained. This is the attitude that is perpetuated at this establishment. ...
