Olive It — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Ive been coming here over the years since Ive worked at LAX. Sometimes its hard to make time to find a good deli/sub shop that can make good food within a matter of minutes to get back to work so Im used to the quiznos/subway lifestyle. But I found this gem randomly when I first started using YELP and still to this day I would recommend this to anyone whos looking for authentic deli food and sandwiches. Located in westchester in the la tijera triangle plaza,owned and operated by family, they provide delicious sides and sandwiches from the #3 Ham, capicolla and proscuitto which has always been and always will be my favorite..because how can you go wrong with any sub that puts prosciutto in it?!

Now, dont get me wrong..I love this place so much but Ive noticed that yes, they have lessened the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches because my meal last week, even the 14" didnt really seem filling and I had more veggies than the meat itself. Also, since they have done more catering, which is great for them, unfortunately being only open from 11:30-5 is kind of a letdown because I think they could make just as much money if not more if they were open a little earlier because so many people at my job who have had it now would love to get an early breakfast or lunch from them. I was on the lookout for a decent sub sandwich place and found Olive It on Google. The inside of the establishment is nice and quaint. I got the Neapolitan Sandwich with a bag of plantain chips and a soda which was not only delicious but also very reasonably priced; for the same amount I'd get regular at Jersey Mike's.

I was driving my girlfriend to LAX and we wanted something to eat and also fast. We found this little hidden gem and their sandwiches are amazing.
