Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and thought they were pretty good. It’s true that this is not my favorite bagel spot in LA but I live very close by to it so it’s conveniently located for me and it really hit the spot this past Sunday morning. They don’t really have indoor seating, and it’s not very large on the inside because it is more of a to go type of spot however it’s not quite as quick as some of the other bagel spots. They seemed to have less staff than some of the others, so that could be the cause. The menu is quite large and they have a lot of great bagel flavor options. It’s located in a shopping mall so there’s plenty of free parking attached and close by. The lady behind the counter was polite and there were a lot of other customers in there as well so it seems like it’s a popular place. My first visit I chose an Everything Bagel with cream cheese, avocado, and chorizo and enjoyed it. I wish the chorizo would’ve been spicier and had a little bit more flavor, but the other components were really good. The Everything Bagel was a little bit heavy on the sesame, but still I enjoyed it. We also tried one of the Garlic Bagels, and thought it was actually very nice. It was not overly garlicky but well balanced. I would give this place another try in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Had been going to East Coast Bagels for 6 months to the point I am now a regular and they know my order. Unfortunately I had a piece of plastic found in my bagel one morning and I called up super professionally to save embarrassing their business in front of paying customers to the point a very helpful member of staff told me to bring the bagel back in. It was the managers who welcomed me and instantly recognized me to take the bagel and take it back in the kitchen to inspect it, to at which point he threw the bagel in the bin, came back out and told me he couldn’t see anything but was going to make me a new one. At this point I marched back and took the bagel out the bin and failed to find the plastic so they could see how large the piece was and they re assured they ‘Believed’ me and would replace. They didn’t even offer me a refund. They handled it extremely unprofessional and I will never be eating at this spot again. Regardless if a couple staff members are nice and the food is great. The management and respect to customers is not up to par. Well here is the photo I’m sure you didn’t miss this opening my bagel before throwing it all in the bin. 👍🏼

Quite a long wait but as to be expected with the ordering line going all the way to the door! I subbed cheese for cream cheese and wow it was very messy so make sure to grab napkins if you do the same. The bagels themselves were very delicious but the sandwich wasn't anything special. I'll definitely be trying something else if I return

Service sucks. They took way too long to make a sandwich, I’d say about 15 min and there wasn’t anyone else there besides one guy who had ordered right before me and it was all but one bagel with lox. Easy…or it should have been. Toppings were also microwaved I’m assuming to melt the cheese but …a microwave? You guys are a bagel shop, can’t you guys have toaster ovens? And I probably would have waited even longer for my sandwich if I wouldn’t have asked if it was done. They guy making sandwiches was walking back and forth with a coffee in his hand and this girl just kept wiping the sandwich counter over and over like trying to look busy. That’s when I asked for my sandwich. She mumbled something , didn’t even look me it the face and that when I saw the toppings come out of a microwave that hadn’t been on for awhile which means my melt toppings were in the for awhile. I understand it was 1:20 or so in the afternoon but, that don’t mean you don’t have to be on your A game....
