First, breakfast was delicious. We ordered huevos rancheros and huevos a la mexicana, and tamal de elote. The coffee was descent. The service was friendly and courteous. Prices are average. We walked upstairs, but there is an elevator. About the atmosphere - you have to be ok with open space with lots of people passing by. Regarding cleanliness, well considering that there are no walls and doors, one has to understand that the entire market place shares vermin and pests. Once again, is open market place. Sunday May 12, we normally pay cash when we travel, but in this case we were short cash and he pulled out his bank card to pay the remaining balance, about 9pm on our drive home our bank calls my husband alerting fraud activity on our checking account. Someone at this restaurant, most likely our waiter used a skimming device to steal our info and charged escorting services. Today I tried calling the restaurant to speak with the owner to alert him/her of the incident only to get hung up on by a counter attendant for not telling her the reason I was calling, when all she needed was my name and number so owner can return my call.
