Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I went in to buy a pizza. The young lady asked me for my phone number. I asked why she needed my number. (She said it was necessary to place my order) I explained, I just wanted to order a pizza, pay cash, get a pizza and go. This was apparently too much to ask. She seemed baffled by my reaction and reiterated she could not place the order without my number. The manager confirmed the store policy, double checked, and reconfirmed the policy.

Yes I know, what's the big deal, give my number, give a fake number, etc. Nope. Give them my money? Yeah right. I went down the street to the next pizza place.

I don't think I was rude to the employees (nor were they rude to me) I just think this type of policy is ridiculous. Too bad for the employees that have to follow it. Too bad some people don't even think twice about it.

I would give it at most 3 stars due to mediocre service but the $5.70 delivery fee made me give a 1 star.

Management is better than a decade ago but survice is slow in store. Sometimes I have to ask of my pizza is ready due to how slow they are instore.Deliver is usually on time but pizza is always at best luke warm. Hence the 3 star.

As for delivery fee, mom and pop reasturants charge in my experience at most $4 delivery in delivery apps. I understand a company has operating costs and has to pay their employees and its expensive in to live in LA. but a $0.50 delivery fee increase and a $0.20 increase in their addititional "its expensive to operate in california" fee in a few months is unacceptable especially for a huge food chain. Just ordered first time from this location my order came missing a side of french fries The pasta and the cheese bread where both burned up Paid them cash plus 5 dollars tips I called them back to ask for my french fries they put me on hold on the phone for 10 min completely ignored the phone after I had to ring for a long time until someone answered just to put me on hold again

Not worth doing business with this location they steal you money take tips and burn your food up they don't answer their phone and food came late 20 min arrive at 7:20pm came at 7:40 pm driver had more then one order with her didn't know...
