The space isn't huge huge, but very decent with mini patio on the side by the entrance. It provides good balance between being intimate yet keeping it casual. Service is top-notch with very informative waiter, assisting us as first-timers in making order choices. Following his reco, we started with their Arancini Truffle and Caesar Salad. The Arancini came in 3 relatively little-but-mighty pieces with decent truffle aroma. I would say it's not like my #1, but def not bad. The Caesar Salad, which was said to be multiple-times award-winning, was refreshing and delectable especially with that generous amount of cheese featured. We did try one of each of their white as well as red pizzas. From the white, the Sweet Cheeks was our starter with toppings of Guanciale, Ricotta, and E Pepe Honey. You might guess it right that it's a combo of creamy and pepper-y taste with hint of sweetness. I personally thought it might suit more niche group given how creamy it was. Still enjoyable for me who indeed love creamy white pizzas, but I would fancy more guanciale ratio to balance the ricotta. From the red, we got their Spicy Chomper, combining Soppressata with 4 cheese, making great balance of savory and creamy flavors. Smart idea to add extra spicy kick from Chili Oil! Other thing to mention, the texture and thickness of the crust well-suited my liking, not being too thin and crispy, but not too...

Read moreSo on any normal night I would say this place is over the moon wonderful and I recommend it to all my friends who come into town and it’s our go to neighborhood eating spot. The chicken is always spot on, never dry and delicious as well as the pizzas. Just this evening, we experienced less of a friendly welcome. We sat, went inside to order (which is never an issue because it keeps everyone safe) got our drinks, Caesar salad, broccoli and my half chicken. After eating my chicken we still waited for my husbands pizza to arrive. I went inside to check and they forgot about it, which I understand can happen and typically I wouldn’t even bother saying anything, it was just the aftermath of no acknowledgement, Decided to leave and not bother to wait for the order. The hospitality industry is slowing making its way back in LA which is great for everyone but the service and friendliness needs to follow as well. We still left a tip because it goes to everyone and it would be cruel to punish all for a mistake.
Everyone has their bad days and good days so if your first impression was poor, try the place again and then judge! (That goes for any restaurant)
Still the food speaks for itself and never falls short of delicious and excellent, so stop by for a visit, their take out is great as well. ☺️
Also try their...
