I'll be honest outside of the drinks being .... Fine and our server being nice. This place was a huge letdown for me all around when coming here it was a Thursday evening or so I believe around 6:00 p.m. when we went to ask her a table. The hostess was standing around but didn't acknowledge anybody trying to look busy so we politely waited in front of the desk until somebody else walked in which she acknowledged and greeted that person inside of them up for their tables, which afterwards she'd still did not acknowledge me. I walked up to her and mentioned that we were waiting to see if there was availability and informed her that she acknowledged the person that came after us. She did not seem to care. Once I asked for availability. I was informed with the wait time was about 40 minutes for a table of three which I said okay unfortunately that wait time grew to be a little over an hour which anytime I came to just check in. See if there were tables ahead. The hostess really seemed irritated like I was really in her way or bothering her really making me feel unwanted. Unfortunately once we have actually got our table the lady that was servicing us was nice and attentive. But once we ordered the food it was not good at all. Whatsoever the burger seemed burnt the fries, not that great. And like I said at the top of the drinks were okay but not really worth going here waiting an hour dealing with a hostess that's irritated by the sight of you I don't know if maybe this restaurant was having an off day or what, but if this is usually how the ambiance and the food is, there's no way I could recommend...
Read moreAlways pass by and see lots of people here, finally stopped by to see what all the fuss is about. Checked out the menu they had outside first to see if it was even something we would like. Once walking in the I loved the vibe immediately! The decore was nice and simple and I loved the exposed brick walls. We were seated right away (we were the early lunch crowd so not many people yet). The menu is small and simple yet has a good variety to chose from. The prices were extremely reasonable, I thought we would be paying more from the looks of the place. The onion ring tower was good, they were nice and crispy but not oily, the hint of Parmesan was a great addition! I got a Finneys burger but substituted rhe pickled onions for grilled onions, the white cheddar for Gouda, and added grilled mushrooms. It was delicious! Ordered well done (because I'm pregnant and that's what's Dr's recommend) and to my surprise it was still a nice and juicy burger! Had a great flavor and just the right size! The pastrami Ruben was also very good, comes with homemade chips that are tasty. I will definitely return to try out more of what they had to offer. The staff was very nice and on top...
Read moreFinney’s seemed to be decent the last couple times I went. But when I’ve gone, I usually just take beer to go. This time we got some food to go and it didn’t look that great when we got it back home. not to mention the two girls in the picture chitchatting we’re just standing there while my bag, in the background, was getting cold. I had to go up to them and ask if that bag was mine. Some of the negative reviews that I’ve seen are talking about this kind of service. Hey,manager have a talk with your employees. Sorry girls to expose you but this place was pretty crowded so you really need to stay on top of it. We just ordered the mini lobster rolls, mini Ahi poke tacos, and the avocado egg rolls. These were all starters so the serving was small. While driving back to our place, the food must’ve rolled around a little so that’s why the non-appetizing look of the photos is obvious. The flavors weren’t bad but I keep going back to those two girls at the front counter not paying attention. This area in Porter Ranch is really nice but very crowded, parking can be hard to find, but there are a lot of other choices as well for food...
