I really did love Fish Town and I loved how they prepare the fish, never did liked the fries, I've tasted better. And "WHAT'S UP WITH THE PLAIN LETTUCE SALAD ??" GIVE ME SOME POTATO OR MACARONI SALAD ON THE SIDE OF MY DINNER AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. And for some of us, there is a problem with the HIGH PRICES, and never enough TARTAR SAUCE in the orders, then they have the nerve to charge their customers for extra sauce now, that use to be complimentary. WOW !!😲☹ I left because I was surprised at how expensive the menu's gotten now, and no customers lined up waiting for orders, and only one customer waiting.. On A FRIDAY NIGHT ?? WAS UNUSUALLY MIND .BLOWING 🤯TO ME !! .NOT FISH TOWN. And I've lived in this neighborhood for over 45 years. Don't know.... but maybe some of us are fishing elsewhere where the fish is biting much better, AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE GETTING BETTER SERVICE AND CATCHING...
Read moreI judged Fishtown on quality of product, taste, packaging, value, and and service. That said, I give them 5 stars. Moms had suggested this establishment several months ago, and we finally had a chance to travel to that area of Los Angeles. Note: We did not order sides, but they do offer Fries, Tater Tots, and Green Salad. The Catfish was superb in all aspects, Moms got Buffalo, and she was very satisfied...she commented that the taste was as good as it was 20+ years ago when she would order and take out Lunch from Fishtown, while was working in the field as a Public Health Nurse. Parking is a limited, and this is a Take Out restaurant only. I suggest ordering fish only, by the pound, for best value. Mom's and I Highly Recommend, and we will return. FYI, don't judge this "book by...

In fact it is CA law thats same practices be upheld in service, and a general courtesy given the price increase for online services. They refuse to simply put enough TAR TAR SAUCE for the volume of fish. It is absolutely ridiculous and a blatantly bad business practice. If you are not happy serving people, don't. God gives us all an opportunity to do righteousness, when you consistently choose to forgo that, your business will...
