First off, the rice and noodles were your basic taste you'd expect nothing wrong there. The orange chicken was also OK, not the best, not the worst. The egg rolls are like the Panda Express style with the soft gooey middle that I don't like personally. I prefer the drier kind. Coming to the orange chicken, it had an ok taste but maybe a little old or more breading than chicken I felt. The food didn’t taste good. The fried rice tasted like soap. The mushroom chicken didn’t taste like anything & I’m not sure the meat was chicken. The orange chicken wasn’t good it tasted old & it was hard to chew. The chow mein was the only thing that was ok but it still was not good. I also was given a free egg roll with my combo & it was mushy & had no flavor . I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this place just opened a few months ago, I went on opening day & had the same experience. I gave it another shot last night & it was even worse. It was super soft yet crispy on the outside. I normally don't finish ALL the food in my Chinese Food to go containers but I almost finished everything. I had ordered the Salt and Pepper Fish, String Bean Chicken, and some Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Everything was priced reasonably and you get a free egg roll with your order to boot. If only they had Salt and Pepper Squid and Congee that would of been perfect but I can definitely see myself coming to Happy Plus when in the mood for Chinese food especially since it's not too far from where I live.
