My Taco — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I'm pretty disappointed in my taco. I have been going there since 2004. I've had friends that worked there during high school, and it was GREAT! But nothing can stay the same forever. Unfortunately as of this year they have started charging an awkward 3.95% fee for using debit or credit. And as of yesterday, they are now charging for refills for agua. And if you want a refill on your soda, and weren't quite happy with the a bad cup that was semi flat, but you drank it anyway, well you're gonna drink that flat soda again, because you can only refill your soda with the same kind... I don't know, but for a business that has been around for so long, and I have supported for so many years I am extremely disappointed that in 2020, we are just now charging for using cards!? It's a business, this cost shouldn't be directly passed on to the consumer in such a manner. I would have rather the food prices increased 3%, but 3.95% ... Idk what credit processer you're using there, but you're being taken or trying to profit off the use of cards. My taco, it's been a GREAT run of over 15 years of support from me, and traveling just for your food, but I'm afraid that's going to be it for me. Thank you for the times we once shared. I miss the times when I couldn't finish my food because the portions were so amazing! The time when you finally decided to get branded cups! Amazing! Now they are just plain clear cups and I can order any size I want, so long as it is a large. Not sure what happened but you've fallen and can't get up and Life alert hasn't come to your rescue. Maybe one day I will retry you and things won't be...

This used to be my favorite spot for the Carne asada fries but they don't make them like they used to. They have been Cheaping out on the sour cream they put on the fries and hardly any cheese is on it and don't get me started on the severely low amount of Carne asada they now put on the fries. The fries have tasted dry and stale both times I came back after the pandemic happened. I though maybe they made a mistake on the order or they ran out of cheese or sour cream or don't have enough Carne asada to add like before or maybe they left out the fries uncooked for too long so I came back a second time and I got my order exactly the same so since they are cheaping out on the toppings, and the fries taste like they were reheated and priced the plate higher, I won't be returning anymore. If you are going to raise the price of the food I am OK with that but if your gonna give less food for more money? That's a deal...

I came to the restaurant called “My Taco” and I didn’t like what the waitress did when she served me my food she put my soda on the table with attitude and practically threw it at me ,she didn’t even bother looking at me. The cashier that charged me in the front had attitude as well. If the waitresses are going to be having attitude they shouldn’t be working because we as customers are paying for the food it’s not free so they should be appreciative that we still sat down and payed for the food.I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody AT all !!! A big no no . My family left really upset out of this restaurant. Won’t ever be coming back...
