If you're looking for an affordable and well worth it Indian buffet, go to India's Tandoori. I'm from Northern California and was visiting LA for the first time, and this was one of the better experiences I've had here.
My partner suggested India's Tandoori . We were craving for Indian cuisine after visiting the Peterson Automotive Museum, and let me just say that it was a very pleasant experience for both of us and two other companions.
Our reasons for giving it five stars are as follows:
When we entered, we were greeted by two wonderful employees and sat down and was immediately told different drinks options for us to order. Buffet comes with free drinks, don’t forget :)
We went for the lunch buffet and it is out of this world, just imagine all you can eat lamb biryani, dal makhani, never ending garlic butter naan, free drinks, goat curry, veg korma, etc. My partner is from India, and he absolutely enjoyed every dish. I for one, could only finish one plate and went immediately to get fruit custard and some fruits (watermelon, cantelope, and melon) and it was so refreshing on a hot day. -The naan was freshly made every time it came out! plates were always cleaned off the table while you were grabbing more food. server always came and check on us at a timely manner.
Price: Buffet price was $17-$18. We also have a similar restaurant in NorCal and both are around the same price. Well worth it. In total we spent $85 for four person with unlimited food and...
Read moreI am so disappointed, I placed an online order at 7:52p.m and received my food at 9:07pm. Between this period of time I called it in at 8:17 to ask if my order was on the way. As a Hollywood local, India's Tandoori is my go-to spot for an incredible meal with friends. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. But the real star of the show is their lunch buffet. Seriously, this has to be one of the best Indian buffets in town.
The price is fantastic for the number of delicious food selections you get. The variety is incredible, with numerous options for everyone, especially vegetarians. I always start with the light and crispy mixed vegetable pakora from the appetizer section. Then I move on to the main dishes, where the aromas alone are mouth-watering. The Matar Paneer is incredible, and the Daal Makhani is rich and comforting. The vegetable yellow rice is perfectly spiced, and the Navratan Korma is a mix of tender vegetables in a smooth, flavorful sauce. My absolute favorite, though, is their Chicken Tikka Masala—it’s always cooked to perfection, with a deep, rich tomato-based sauce that is simply divine.
The buffet also includes a fresh salad bar and a wonderful selection of desserts. I love finishing my meal with some fresh fruit or a small bowl of sweet, creamy rice pudding. If you're looking for a delicious, affordable, and satisfying meal with great service, try India's Tandoori. You won't be...
