King Bowl — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I can tell you food was very good. I can say that the portions were generous. I can inform you the place was clean and a needed rest from the hustle and bustle of Sunset boulevard traffic.

I can and do stand by that. But the real reason is personal. The look, the flavor, the ambiance, the service is as good as I remember 30 years ago when I as a young man I found this place.

I hope it stays open another 30 years and it can provide the best Chinese food in Hollywood. With reasonable prices and big portions the neighbors are a lucky lot.

The added plus is the very nice and patient chinese young lady serving the food is fluent in Spanish. I can bring my 90 year abuela and she will feel right home.

But maybe it's just the melancholy of my youth that made me pull into the 7-11 parking lot. But I think my stomach would say it too is happy with the experience...

my favorite place in echo park as a kid, the prices for the quantity and quality is UNBELIEVABLE, i will always appreciate that they fill plates so so so much, if you’re not super hungry a Combo B could easily be two meals, the food is already ready so there’s virtually no wait, i’m pretty sure they deliver via doordash and offer dine-in, most of the women are trilingual so it’s pretty accessible to most of la, overall so good i hope everyone leaves these kind women...

I ate here a couple of times and it's good like any other Chinese take out. The bar-b-que pork I'm going to pass on next time as they don't do a very good job with trimming the fat. Chicken wings are good and the rice and chow mien tastes about the same as any other place.
